Understood and executed the theme better than 90% of the attendees. Gorgeous.

This is one of the most incredible dresses I've ever seen online. I am in awe of your talent, patience and ability to complete this exquisite piece in 60 hours. I have no doubt your talent will be shown at the Met Gala. But your work and esthetic are much too refined and elegant for the Met. That truly is a compliment. I find the Met fashions more a shock show than anything anymore.

I hope one day you do get to create a gown for the Met Gala. Your work is timeless and beautiful and so deserving! I adore watching you create, your idea's - everything. Watching you motivates me on my own sewing journey and is a beautiful reminder to never give up.
  • I wish there had been more looks like this on the red carpet. So beautiful, delicate, and evocative.
  • she knew we would want to see the little screen protector get taken off. 11/10 youtuber.
  • @SueK2001
Lovely gown. Better than 99% of the gowns at the Met Gala last night. I love your pattern paper and this is so generous of you. But as I have plenty of pattern paper, I won’t enter. Good luck to everyone that does enter. 😊

Oh Frieda......it turned out magnificent! I wished someone would have contacted you and worn it to the Met Gala....that would have been fabulous!......The dress looked so light and airy, and the color was just gorgeous! I hope someone does contact you to commision a dress for the next Met Gala! I always look forward to your videos because I know that your seamstress skills are impeccable! Thank you so much for sharing your creations with us!

Even the word “exquisite” isn’t enough to describe this creation.
  • @pollycoleman1746
Your design and meticulous attention to detail resulted in a truly ethereal creation. Your lovely voice and beautiful editing resulted in a magical experience as you took us along through your creative process. Certainly you will have the opportunity to design your works of art for not only the Met gala, but also other enduring platforms.
  • @ZaraAylarova
Your dress is better than everything that was in MET gala this year. Amazing work ❤
  • @bulbrossow9172
You're sewing is so beautiful every time and your technique just amazes me.
  • To me your precision and direction is like a beautiful fairytale, I love your dresses and the gown that you made for your mother brought tears to my eyes, seeing how much love you have for her, gorgeous I strive to be as wonderful as you!
  • @stevezytveld6585
You mean WHEN you design a dress for the MET Gala. I have no doubt. I also have no doubt that that gown will be embroidered to the satisfaction of the angles... I learn so much from you... really. My jaw was dropping throughout this video at the different techniques you used throughout the process. Thank you so, so much Ms. Frieda for all the work you do. The dress is amazing. I'm literally speechless. This is one of those projects I'll be coming back to on a regular basis. Well done! - Cathy (&, accidently, Steve), Ottawa/Bytown/Pimisi

I play your videos on repeat whenever I'm sewing. They are so inspiring and calming.
  • I discovered your channel recently. The videos are beautifully filmed and edited but I particularly enjoy your narration because it helps me to understand the complexity of your dressmaking videos. My husband and i recently retired, downsized and moved 600 miles away from home and one of my major goals was to improve my sewing skills. I find your sewing videos both entertaining and informative. Thank you.
  • @joannebrown4073
This is a layered work of art. The thought that as gone into every delicate layer is amazing. The video maybe only 17 minutes long. But of course it takes longer. But the editing is flawless. But the effect is timeless. Stunning just stunning xx
  • You have been truly blessed with what I call a sacred skill. Thank you for sharing your talent.
  • Frieda, you are so creative and thoughtful regarding each of your designs. I love watching you!
  • @coachcasey9823
The dress is stunning and your work, as usual, is impeccable! Your videos are the perfect combination of aesthetics, information and inspiration.
