All I can say is that Robert Greene is a pure genius. Read the book and then read again every year as reminder of how to lead your life.
  • Greene is a genius. You can see him using his own laws on the interviewer. The way he lets him completely take over the conversation while saying very little himself
  • Robert greene is a smart man brilliant writer
  • "Learn what NOT to do." We put so much effort on what to do, and little on what to stop to save ourselves a worse outcome.
  • Sometimes I like to watch interviews where the person being interviewed gets ample time to talk and share their ideas. Other times, I watch this.

The interviewer and his guest are bringing clarity to this abstract principle of power

A lot of people hate this book because it's too "evil" and full of manipulation. However, who says you have to be evil? Harsh reality, but the world is pretty cruel and not the easiest place to survive in every single day. This book will help you catch people right away when they're being manipulative, gaslighting you, using you, etc. As long as you learn and understand the lessons in this book, you'll better understand human and society. You don't need to be a pro manipulator just be careful!!
  • As a life long reader, student, professor, writer, I feel that I could almost stop all other reading and learning ventures and just read and reread Robert Greene's works for the rest of my life...both for my personal betterment and to the betterment of those with whom I interact...(and I'm really not being hyperbolic).

Loved that Barry was so enthousiastic about the book.
  • One of my favorite books. I read it at least once a year.
  • Robert using the Law of Never seem perfect by not wanting to be the guru and quoting/referencing other people. Well done!
  • By following a few of those "rules" in the book, I managed to elevate my career to the next level and next few levels within years, which I couldn't do so in the decade before. Of course, however, one must be able to understand the true gists of those rules & apply them appropriately and flexibility to different situations.
