Gears of War E Day: Which Locust Will Appear?

My guy is out here keeping Gears of War interest alive for YEARS and now he's finally getting to flex his knowledge!!!

Humans are no stranger to war. After all, we've been fighting for as long as we can remember. War is all we know. In the past, we fought for imulsion. We fought for country. We fought for freedom. But all that changed after E-Day. For 15 years, we've been fighting for our very survival against inhuman, genocidal monsters, but it is a fight we cannot continue. Humanity faces extinction, unless we end this war, now. We had hoped the mass bombings would decimate the Locust Horde, but they survived, and have returned stronger than ever. They brought with them a force that can sink entire cities. Even Jacinto, our last beacon of hope through all these dark days, is now at risk. Soon, we'll have nothing left to defend, and that means we have only one option. Attack. Gears, what I ask of you now is not an easy thing. But, it is necessary. If we are to survive, if we are to live long enough to see the seasons pass, our children grow, and experience a time of peace that we have never known, we must now take this fight to the Locust. We will go to where they live and where they breed, and we will destroy them. This is the day we take the battle to the heart of the enemy. This is the day that we correct the course of human history! This is the day we ensure our survival as a species! Soldiers of the C.O.G., my fellow Gears, go forth, and bring back the hope of humanity!

The Locust council meeting should be an interesting one if included in E-Day where we get to see things from the Horde’s perspectives.

I hope the Troika Gunner Locust will make a comeback in this Prequel because he deserves better.

I hope some form of the Breechshot returns, and we see Karn invade the UIR! Maybe a scene with Paduk getting blasted with the Hammer of Dawn, oh man they have so much potential with this game I hope they do this right

I mean, it was established in gears tactics that Ukkon was the one who created creatures like the Brumaks, and that takes place 12 years before the first Gears of War. If they created a new big monster enemy type they can easily say that its a creation of Ukkon that died out after his death.

This man literally resurrected my love for Gears of War last year, and I’ve watched nearly every video since. Now that we’ve finally got a new game coming out bringing back the feel of the classics I am absolutely stoked. Great videos man, and thanks for keeping Gears alive until now and going forward

If a Berserker isn’t in E-Day, I will be hella upset. She’s not only a tough bitch. But adding blindness to her but with abilities to hear and smell you would give an extra horror vibes as done in the first Gears of War game.

What if they put RAAM as a extra story after you beat the main game or make a dlc where you play as RAAM with a short chapter story?

Brooo a Lambent War Campaign would be Epic

I want a RAAM and Skorge DLC with them seizing control of the horde over Uzil Skraag.

What if E-day actually follows mutiple squads? So in one act you follow Marcus and Dom, and then in anouther you follow a differnet squad, before jumping back to Marcus and Dom. That might be a way for them to include stuff like the Theron and Kantus, without breaking the established lore since those other squads could fight those enemies. It could also be a neat way to show the scale of destruction during E day.

I love that in the Tralier for E Day, we see Marcus getting threw across the room by a normal drone, which showcases how Horrifying the Horde Truly is giving me Halo Reach Vibes which humanity is fighting a losing battle against an unstoppable force. (If Context the Surivors of Emergency Day called the ones that died the lucky ones)

14:42: I say hell yes to that! I too want to see a locust council meeting in a cut scene and then I want to see a DLC for Gears E-day where you get to play as RAAM and the bloodied Vangaurd. When the locusts interact with each other I want to see them speak their native language and then we, the players, can read the subtitles to understand what they are saying. EDIT: this might be a bad idea since it would take away from the horror and mystery aspect of not knowing where these creatures appeared from and what is their purpose. I'd say, just keep the whole locust council for a possible dlc so that way e-day's atmosphere remains dark and mysterious.
