Wildlife photographers without a doubt have one of the coolest jobs in the world. Every professional wildlife photographer will tell you that the secret to capturing those once-in-a-lifetime moments is patience and being at the right place at the right time. However, sometimes there's just no secret as the animals once in a while tend to do the unexpected and end up surprising the photographer. Some photographers were lucky enough to encounter their dearest animal friends from up close. Perhaps a little too close on occasion.

I'll say it. THE CAMERA MAN NEVER DIES.
  • @JuicyCrusader
Lion just wanted to ask if the cameraman has games on his phones

Thumbnail. Lion: hey food can we talk for a moment?

The big male gorilla: “Cmon guys that’s enough. You’ve had your fun, now let’s go. You know we aren’t even supposed to mess with these creatures…they’ll become dependent on us!” 😂

These were all good. The wolves were the most fascinating because they showed such happiness. The howls were perfect in that primal moment, enriching both species with surprisingly heartwarming contact.

I love how appreciative the photographers look during these.

I love how the Meerkats use the humans as stools to get a higher lookout perspective lol.
  • The lion curiously sniffing the photographer is like that one man standing in the frame when news reporters are covering news.
  • The words "...DO NOT FOLLOW..." on the side of the film vehicle as the lioness is walking nonchalantly away from an understandably "frozen in place" photographer was epic... 🇿🇦❤️🦁

Those photographers have much love in their heart. That is why those animals came closer without tearing them.

Nothing makes me happier than watching this video, of wild animals being where they belong and not in zoos/aquariums..
  • Watched a series of photographers who were photographing a pride that hunted at night. The lions were going to set off for the night but they decided they didn’t have anyone to watch the cubs so they dropped off the cubs next to their tents. So the photographers said “ I guess we are not going along on the hunting tonight because we have been chosen as the babysitters!” It was too funny. The moms came back in the morning and picked up their cubs. It was adorable to watch. 😂😂😂😂😂

Lioness caught him off guard when she walked up to him and whispered "Delete that last one. I don't like it".

My cat came right next to me to watch this video and we have enjoyed every minute of it 😊 even the fridge being open at some point didn't get him to stop watching and go, he watched till the end and then he went away.. ♡

Number 2 because nothing is funnier here than watching that gorilla pet the photographer’s head as they move on. 😂 very similar to a human.

Just amazing how animals in the wild over time realise the cameramen are no threat and start to become curious. Respect nature and it seems to respect you back.

What a moment that must of been howling with the wolves! I came across a bear once in the wild, and it was really unnerving and surreal. I made the mistake, and was too quiet, and accidentally snook up on him. By the time I heard him grunt, he had already stood up on his legs, and was just staring at me! I backed away, keeping eye contact, and thankfully, he didn't see me as a threat, or I may of been lunch! This happened nearly 30 years ago, and it's still very fresh in my mind! Much respect to these photographers, that only arm themselves with bravery, and a camera!

I think the most impressive one was the guy getting away with petting the Cheetah cubs without having a dinner date with their mother 🫣😯

I love that bear sitting down like “what are we watching?” Lol. Then he realized they were just watching more of him and bailed.
