This is where he gets rid of his capacity to love in the form of Saint Trina, so the Misbegotten's probably just a part of him, which is why he drops a Miquellan incantation.

Stupidly small detail but I like how in the beginning when he was running around with the Gruntilda’s Lair theme from Banjo Kazooie, and then when he started using the freezing pots the music switched to the theme that plays when you’re near Freezeezy Peak.

I was actually excited to find out how much damage the harpoons do against Bayle and gotta say seeing the measly 692 was absolutely hilarious. Poor Igon would've never stood a chance with those. Edit: I concur Igon would do more damage. Still very funny though
