Hurricane Debby may have turned into tropical storm Debby but it's still packing quite a wallop. It is wreaking havoc in Florida with massive flooding. A parking lot of an apartment complex is underwater. A couple in Sarasota, Florida, lost everything. As the water began to sweep through their house, they raced to the second floor to wait it out. However, they are now still stuck. Inside Edition's Les Trent has more.

That determination that doctor had is beyond all level
  • The Dr. is amazing. The flood would probably be a good enough excuse to call out but drs. that care about patients will do whatever it takes to get into work during a disaster and I have so much respect for that.

My insurance company paid what they owed me for Hurricane Dennis and then stopped doing business in Florida. They always lose money in Florida 😮🎉😮

I'd never live there. Every year you'd be wondering if it happens

See, stuff like this is why I'm being cautious of where I'm moving to in the future - I'm planning to move to a beach town that's safe enough at a home not up close to the shoreline. I currently live in NJ, and I recall that the worst that we got was during Hurricane Sandy with heavy winds knocking a huge tree down, knocking down wires & blocking the way out for us and our other neighbors on the dead-end street for a bit. I really hope that everyone in Florida stays safe, but stuff like this is why I'm unlikely to live there. 😅
