Restoration on Big Ben's Elizabeth Tower, next to the Houses of Parliament in London, England, is due to be completed this summer to a budget of £79.7m.

One can't help but feel immense pride and joy at the sight of Big Ben, especially if you're a Londoner. Its prestige and grandeur is quite something. Beautiful cultural and historical landmark.

Imagine travelling to London in the old days through pokey little villages and over rolling hills, having never seen anything higher than a few stories and then you get to the capital city and see that beautiful clocktower, would be a sight to behold

Looked great when I was there a few days ago. Born and bred Londoner, and I used to live opposite it in Waterloo, but still a very special tower everytime I see it.

I went there today and it’s been greatly renovated! It’s very golden now which is absolutely beautiful and a lovely sight

We have a clock tower here in Nepal too that’s a centuries old, originally inspired by the Ben. Sadly, it’s poorly maintained now.
