8 MONTH UPDATE 2/24/2023 - I've gotten a lot of comments below that people have had issues with this unit. I wanted to provide an update - today, I used it to jump start the red Ford Ranger shown in the video, and it had been sitting in the back of the cab since shortly after this video was published. It was fully charged at that time. 8 months later, without having plugged it in, it started the truck without issue. The truck battery was reading about 11.4V, just low enough that it wouldn't turn over. I'm not saying I recommend this unit based on the feedback from others, but I just wanted to provide this data point. YMMV!

Yeah I’d say that’s a win. You can’t buy those features separately for that total price. On top of that it does it all reasonably well with good warranty and support. My only complaint is it doesn’t use 20v tool batteries.

I have the same one and had to use it this morning on my completely dead 2012 f150 v8 and it was plenty enough to jump start it

See you on the next one buddy. We use the flexvolt advantage 2.5 gallon compressor for our truck and trailer tires. It’s a must have on our work truck man. Not as fast as corded larger compressors but it’s good enough and beats finding a power source and running cords. Especially if you get a flat driving down the road. Nice review man👌

Thanks a lot for this video, you cleared me many doubts before buying it and I will certainly get one.

You are testing to “point of failure”? Awesome job. Thanks!

    Good in-depth review will follow

I own one. Bought it used for $50. It always jumps my car never fails. The tire inflator takes what seems like forever to inflate from dead flat to 35psi and if it doesn’t have a full charge, it might die before you get there. USB is never a problem. Lights never a problem. Never used the alternator charger. Never put anything more than hair clippers on the inverter and it did fine for that. It does take way too long to fully charge and it’ll come close to losing its charge in a month of non-use. It was worth $50 and I’ve had it almost a year. I wouldn’t replace it with a brand new one. I’d buy something else. It’s too damn heavy. Keep in mind, mine is probably right around 2 years old. I keep it charged in the vehicle by using a separate 750 watt 12volt outlet inverter. Which charges it fine as long as your driving but slow just sitting in idle. Hope this helps. Edit: added info and corrected some spelling.

How long can it sit in your trunk before you need to charge it again Without using it.
  • @Coopjj
    Nice diagnostic review.
  • @MinhLe-yr4gt
Does it have on and off button? How you turn it off?
  • @mozee01
I have this but lately the air compressor will not when the correct air preassure is reached.
  • @Miketheman009
did you test the battery capacity and amp hours in total?
  • @scottex8370
I bought one of those, a different model, it cost $180 and it quit working after 3 months, I used it 5 times. After doing some research I found out stanley had a jump pack that although looked completely different was basically the same at only $50 at Sam's club and that one last 2 years so far.
  • Need a long term review too, thanks Jim 😎⚒️😎⚒️😎
