I'm honestly shocked at this point that Lego hasn't made official sets like this by now. How awesome would it be to get some simple mechanical devices like this that you get to actually build before you use? Talk about an amazing way to teach kids about how things work! Until such time though, keep making awesome videos like this!

Time sure flies by when you're building ;)
-
with the gears coming out of the sides like that, you could do minutes and hours as separate modules and have them all run off the same driver
-
That is very impressively compact! I’d love to see a part 2 with an hour hand too
-
I'm curious to know how pendulum clocks are able to run for days without needing to be wound again. The weight seems to fall pretty steadily. If you do a part 2, I'd love to see you touch on that

Arguably one of the best lego mechanisms of all time. No it isn't. Yes it is. No! it! isn't! YES IT IS!! [Message repeats]

We need a parts list and instructions! this is such a cool bit of mathematical lego engineering!!
-
so tiny! i like your solution for fixing the string to the barrel. where to tie the string is always challenging. KEvron

Working Lego clocks, from the simplest to most complex, fascinate me.

Amazing build!
-
So criminally underrated!
-
I love the gasp of excitement when the escapement worked after the initial redesign.
-
i want a part 2
-
This is really cool. I would love to build one myself.
-
The sound it makes is incredible. An exquisite Tick followed by an exceptionally satisfying Tock. Well done.
-
This is a lovely project. Simple, compact and yet functional. More, please.

This is an amazing contraption better than my pendulum lego clock amazing how you gain about 10k subs per month keep up these builds which open new imagination for others my pendulum clock is a 8 by 10by 9 +12=732 lego units as counts hours yours has compacted gearing and uses up a little bit of space
-
Nice one!👌I would love a part 2 !!!

This video is amazing. I've always wanted to know how a pendulum clock worked and you've done such a good job showcasing the mechanics inside.

It is amazing how compact you managed to get it! Such a cool style of video. ( :
