That’s a real shame about the apple jam! Typically it’s one of the BEST components in a Russian ration…😢. I’m glad you enjoyed the rest though, most western palates typically find Eastern European food “weird” or “too greasy”. We’ll see how the next packages fares in transit…😂

Must have been Russian week! You'd think we got together with Ration Nerd and planned this 😆 Same drink I had and definitely hard to figure out! The cheese is kinda blah imo. Joe is a great dude! Excellent Schlee!

I tried on in 2017, and it was as appealing as dog vomit. This definitely looks better. And "fiddlesticks" is hardly harsh !

Another fun review. You need a little stove like they have inn the French ration to heat the main. I’m curious why you studied Russian in college. I studied German thinking I would be assigned to Germany. Instead I got the Middle East followed by Korea. Naturally my German language knowledge faded.

It's a pity that this ration lacks the vegetable caviar or anything like that. I personally like these items. Also surprised that the main is in a tin can, usually they use different packaging.

You are braver than I am LOL, I would have had to heat it up hahahaha, I wonder if you heated the cheese up it would be better 🤷♀️ I watched Jerms the other day with his Russian MRE and the ration he had was way different LOL (you can go check my comment out over there 😂😂) Thanks for sharing
