I always thought Joey would be at the top3 people that the band would never lose. He made that band as much as Corey did. His drumming style was unheard of on mainstream music platforms when they came out.

I'll drop the explanation why Joey left: He came down with an illness that left his legs paralyzed and he couldn't walk and the last shows he played he had to be carried on-stage

I’ll never listen to Slipknot again without Joey or Chris. I had a lot of respect for these guys with the way they handled losing Paul, but the way they let go of Joey and Chris like nothing with out giving any reason or explanation is not cool. I think Paul would be heartbroken, hell he probably is broken. I believe in souls, and I believe Paul’s soul would not want this for the band he worked so hard to take to the top with the other 8.

U know it shocked me to read Joey Jordison recently died, i mean like earlier this week. That really saddened me actually. Never met the dude but I've seen him do his gear rundowns on YouTube before and he seemed to be a very down to earth, genuine dude. Fucking amazing drummer, and especially since I thought other drummer's in similar genres got way more accolades thrown at them, and I thought Joey was just better. He will be missed never be another quite like him on the kit. RIP Joey u were one of the best drummers from the last 25 yrs u were both a banger and technically savvy man.
