Met my husband while this song was playing in 1992. He died of cancer and I think of him every time I hear this song. So beautiful!

Extreme, when this came out I was homeless, in and out of jail, and unhealthy. Now I have a house, a good job, and a husband. This song and “Clover Cage - The Secret Of Life” are the two songs that helped with my depression. I just want everyone to know things will get better. We are in this together. I love you 💕

A fun fact is that this song was Selena Quintanilla's favorite. Her husband, Chris, would often play it on the guitar while Selena sang along on her tour bus. Following Selena's death, the band Extreme learned that this was her favorite song and dedicated it to her at one of their concerts. Had Selena's life not been tragically cut short, she might have collaborated with them.💖

This brings me back to 1991, just married, and we went to Europe for our honeymoon. This song was playing everywhere that summer. What beautiful memories. He passed away two years ago, rest in peace baby, I love you still.

July of 2024! Im missing the 90s and im in my feels. Im now the older generation. And it aint the same. No wonder old folks were ready to go when they were ready to go. They are all just missing something that will never be again

I loved this song since I was 11 or 12 . I’m 44 now and this is timeless
