Building an Outdoor Kitchen on our Off-Grid Homestead

I like the branching habit of your sunflower. It may be nice to save the seeds for next season. I suspect if they were planted in a "hedgerow" pattern, you would have a nice windbreak, morning or evening shade and the branches would be self supporting in a mass planting. AND you could selective cull some as treats for your animals. ♥ It is great to Sarah using a water meter. Knowing the moisture at depth is so important in arid climates, especially with annual crops and first to fourth year perennials. By the fourth year, a deep and wide root system should be established. I so enjoy your relationships with all of your plants and animals. Such kind hearts. You are blessed partners. 😊

I couldn't agree more with your opening saying. The older I get the less I want and more I want to make do with simple things. 😊 Wow, the Peppa/Maggie piggies are no longer babies. They're teenagers now. I think they had a big growth spurt just in the past week!! The garden is looking so lovely. And Mr. Craftsman, Luke, is doing a fine job on the outdoor kitchen. I love how your choice of music for the videos reflects so well what kind of people you are (or seem to be) - positive, playful and creative. I often catch myself wiggle to the music while watching you play with the animals, garden, build or do whatever 😊 it's just really fun to watch. Great work luke . when you're using your ratchet to put your long bolts in see if you can find an extender to the handle that slips right over the handle to give you more leverage should help you with those long boats.

Oh Sarah, I'm most satisfied that finally you changed your boots into "normal" shoes! I understood the reason, why you preferred to wear those boots, but they will ruin your feet. Please, don't wear them anymore, especially in summer. ------- I'm so glad, Luke, that you decided to go on working on your outdoor kitchen! But is it the "right" moment with that terrible heat? Please, take care of yourself. ------- Whenever I see Molly and Timmy playing together I feel happy. They are so cute! ------- Mr. Alfie and little Eddie seemed a bit shy when you took them out of their home area ... In German we say: "Exercise makes the master" (Übung macht den Meister). Thanks for sharing all those wonderful moments of your daily life.
