How many times have we crashed through raid portals because our Titanic Worldsoul was in danger? In at least two expansions, Legion and BFA, Azeroth was very much a Titan in waiting. But now? No. She’s so much more than that, and in understanding that story, we see why by the end of the of the Worldsoul Saga, Aman’thul will be our headline antagonist.

Champion! It turns out you, master of defeating every villain ever, is the last titan!
  • We defeat Xal'Atath, but before she dies, Illidan appears and steal the kill, again, and opens a portal wich sargeras come and says: ITS SARGERING TIME
  • The last titan is Sargeras. They release sargeras in order to save the universe from the void.

"Friends don't tell friends about Shadowlands lore." Lmao

For the people who havent considered this: Its kinda clear to me that ''The Last Titan'' will have but a single most important purpose as an expansion and that is to set up the future of world of warcraft. Now there wouldnt be any future if azeroth really was the last titan now would there?

I'm gonna die of old age before i get a solid answer in this game.

Blizzard is taking alot of the void stuff from Lovecraft and in the lovecraftian universe the strongest old one is called Azatoth. Now with all the voices and whispers everyone is hearing there could be a possibility that Azeroth might in some form be connected to the void

I will never forget what Blizz told us before Shadowlands: "The Jailer is like a Titan plus plus". I was so hyped! And oooooooohhh yeah...we were all surprised!
  • What if the Titans originally stole their powers from Azeroth and subsequently imprisoned her? 🤔

It’s Sargeras. He was right all along.

All I know is Titans = bad, and the Last Titan = Sargeras. The bigger mystery for me is Elune.

My favoured theory is that Azeroth is a creation deity and the various forces are fighting over her power because they think they know how to prevent the universe falling apart, and we're just in the period where the titans are the ones in charge.
  • Sounds to me like the great creator went to sleep like a pheonix waiting to be reborn and the kids decided to play and keep the parent asleep.... sounds too familiar to another storyline I can't quite put my finger on.

I don't think it's limited to world souls or dragons. I think the titans found the Djaradinn and reforged them to the iron Vrykul. I think the bull statue in Uldum means they tampered with the tauren too. Elves are notoriously mouldable, probably the troll regenerative properties, but I think it's a feature of Azerothian life, to change. Maybe the curse of flesh was an infusion of void to counter Titan tampering.

No, there’s one more thing from the Shadowlands that’s important, what was done to Argus, can also be done on a smaller scale. Mortals can be infused like that as well.
