Magnesium is vital for the proper performance of all muscles in your body, from heart muscle, to gut musle to leg muscle...
  • I've been battling chronic fatigue for my entire adult life (30M). I'm in ridiculous shape, I eat healthy but I couldn't figure out what was wrong. I tried everything. Eventually, I decided to start taking Magnesium Glycinate and Magnesium Citrate before bed. After a month of doing so, I feel well rested every single night. I am more productive at work. I am more confident, more assertive, generally in a better mood and just an overall greater pleasure to be around. I think magnesium deficiency is what I was struggling with. I can't believe after all this time, I've finally identified the issue. Somebody pinch me, I must be dreaming!

I started taking 340 mg of magnesium glycinate about two months ago for some harmless arrhythmias. I recently noted that my BP is now consistently 110/70. I’ve always been a 125/85 guy and took 5 mg of lisinopril for many years. I’ve since discontinued all meds and can only assume my lower BP is due the daily magnesium dose! Amazing.

I LOVE the way he speaks: honest, knowledgeable and simple. Great teacher.

I have been taking Omeprazole and diclofenac for 7 years now and no doctor told me about taking magnesium. Just started reading about the two drugs I am taking because of the site effects I have been experiencing. I am 60 years old and I have to tell you, the way majority of doctors treated me is just outrageous. Each time I mention the site effects I am ignored. Something is wrong when I as patient have to look on the internet to find out what the hell is wrong with the prescriptions I am given.
  • Love your content, I’m a Holistic Health Practitioner and totally agree with your video on magnesium. I push it to most of my Patients

On lowest dose of thiazide for BP (sole condition) for two weeks with no guidance from my doctor on managing palpitations, dehydration, and diet. The complexities of magnesium, potassium, calcium and how they work together and more importantly, how deficiencies (and excesses!) in one of these minerals has consequential effects. After two days of trolling the internet to better understand the medication, the symptoms, and fit it all together, I landed upon one of your videos. More doctors should provide the basic education you provide. It's not enough to hand a patient a scrip and hope they thrive. Your community and patients have a gem in you.

I accidentally found out magnesium fixes my blood pressure..lol I was looking for anything to get off blood pressure meds, started taking potassium and magnesium every night. Blood pressure went down from 140/95 to 117/70, ran out of magnesium and my blood pressure went back up. Thank you for posting this!
  • Thank you Dr. Berry for all your advice. I was Dx with diabetes on Christmas eve. A1c was 11.6, i started following your keto, and then carnivore advice. Three mos later A1c= 7.1. Got off the metformine and switched to berberine and french lilac. Now my A1c is 6.1, down from 11.6 in six mos. BP is 100/70, all labs are good. My primary doctor almost pissed himself, said it couldn't be done. I hope to have my A1c out of the pre diabetic range and back to normal on a few mos. Thank you so much !!

I remember doing a Nutrition lab experiment in college, feeding a lab rat a zero Magnesium diet. That poor rat became so neurologic after about 10 days that we stopped the trial & put him back on normal feed. The Neuro signs resolved in about 3 days. Magnesium matters!

I used to suffer from mineral deficiency and had many health problems from drinking reverse osmosis water, now I drink spring water after finding out what the problem was, never been this healthy in years. No supplements. Thanks.
  • @covington105
Doctor, please talk a little bit more about the lack of magnesium. It can cause bipolar disorder, suicidal tendencies, mood swings, depression and much more. So many peoples in the United States suffers from depression. Many psychiatrists do not check for vitamin deficiencies, but instead administer strong psychotropic drugs. Your audience need to hear more about this problem. Thank you.

I used to get really bad leg cramps, sometimes from my groin to my knee in my inner thigh or right in the middle of my calves, specially at night when I stretched my legs, since supplementing with magnesium they have stopped.
  • Thank you Doctor, everyone truly appreciates your knowledge and sharing it with us.

Since I started taking magnesium supplements and also followed the intermittent fasting, I was able to go off of one of my blood pressure medication. I hope to eventually get off of the second one,But I am so happy with the results so far. Thank you! Thank you so much.
  • I think you saved my life. I was magnesium deficient and had all the symptoms. I don't have them anymore after I started taking a supplement and eating keto. Thank you.
  • @sondrasmith50
We started Keto and got a magnesium citrate supplement. I have fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, and vitamin D deficiency amongst other things. I USED to have migraines (at least one weekly) and have only had one or two a month since taking the supplement. We ran out and I got daily headaches that stopped as soon as we got more. I ALWAYS feel better after an epsom salt bath. Thanks for the tips.
