One heck of a unboxing Patty!! I think this heater checks all the boxes. I like it. Thanks 👍

I like the audible alarm for out of water and the long cord. Great review, Patty! 🙂👍

I like the Hygger heaters. I also agree with you, it is annoying to keep putting your hand into the tank to adjust your heater. A stand-alone controller makes life so much easier.

Really cool thats the first for me to see also on the automatic shutoff.
  • This looks like an awesome heater. The cord length and that auto shut off is amazing. I’m going to buy one right now for my 125. Thanks great review. You sold me😀
  • Great review of this product including set up I do like the chord length. That is important Will be looking forward to an update on this product Full view!!!

This is certainly an evolution in heaters. I think other competitors will have to up their game especially if these units provide accuracy and endurance. The long cord and multiple features you mention are well thought out. I look forward to your review at a later date. It will influence my decision on purchasing one. Great review. Thanks

Yep I have a hygger double quartz heater model HG043 a 800 watt one has it in my sump since January heating my 180 gallon tank and it has worked flawlessly. The truth be told how long it lasts will be the true test. As I had another older hygger heater that failed after 6 months got a warranty replacement and it only lasted about a year. So time will tell on these new ones.

Hello! Excellent review, thank you. I have a few smaller Hygger heaters that are similar to this and are great. But I have had a few of their "old school types" that didn't make it past 6 months before there were issues. That being said, I don't buy that type anymore and have been happy. I really like the controller on this one in your video. Very nice feature.
