HARD CORE ALCOHOLICS AND DRUG USERS, get help! You are the exception and cold turkey might be very dangerous. Wish you all the best with it!
OSU

We all believe that doing whatever we like to do is giving us freedom. But it's not, we lock ourselves up by many vices and they control us, well, that's the opposite of "freedom".
To be free of them takes work, a lot of work, and Bas has been working it for a long time now, as he will say in this video: "Three years ago I thought it wouldn't be possible because this is much harder than I anticipated, but now I realize it IS possible, we just need to be stronger than ever".

Since there are a lot of different vices out there, you have to first recognize them and then you can start working on them.

Good luck with joining the good fight, you will come out the other end a much happier person when you do, that's a promise!

OSU (this is a Karate greeting, comes from two Japanese words, OSHI which means PUSH, and SHINOBU which means ENDURE. So, to PUSH & ENDURE, trust me, you are going to need it, so once it gets tough, give yourself a big OSU! Godspeed

Bas went from defeating martial artist to defeating Demons, the second is the hardest. 🙏🏼

This is just like a passage i read in the bible yesterday. It was the book of Matthew, it went something like this... "Don't make promises you can't keep, it is better you don't make promises at all, you either do it, or you don't"... That really stuck with me as it is what i really needed to hear, i am eating healthier but i need to lose a few extra pounds and you Bas really drove it home with this, so thankyou.
  • All this advice is GOLD. I'm 40. Your priorities will change to be more life extending and family orientated. Turn off the news, you're missing nothing. God speed

I needed to hear this, Thanks Bas. Right now, I'm bed ridden from a heart condition and waiting for it to improve. Yet, there are still things within my control. I can change the time I wake up. I can stop vaping. I can improve my diet. I can commit to making my videos on schedule. I can't do much physically until my heart condition resolves, but I can commit to the little bit that I can safely do. Sometimes (especially if you run into a health problem), you feel like life is completely out of your control. I realize now, that's simply not true. I can improve my life, and set myself up for an even better life once I'm better. Once again, thank you Bas.

Bas I was a kid when you were fighting and recently I’ve been watching my elderly parents and family leave me one at a time. Suffered a few injuries and training slowed down after 20 years of lifting and ups and downs and loosing my reasons for training. The vanity aspects are gone and now it’s more of just a routine and I’m back training back in church talking to the Lord more and proud of my Catholic faith and not apologizing for any of it. The way you broke it down makes it so easy to understand with Harvard example and all! Finding myself lost in life just getting into my 40s trying to find reasons to keep going I found myself mesmerized at your fighting style one night captivated watching the oldies all night and then hearing your life story relating to the early years with dealing with certain things really took it home! Then to see you were Catholic and one more story about the soul well never could I describe an experience that I personally had up until you told your story of the surgery room light could I understand what I experienced! Up from when it happened at 19 years old until this year few weeks ago when I heard you describe the soul I would keep it to myself only thinking of it as oh wow what a fun night we were indulging in our vices and instead of one let’s do 5 aww man we were having fun, yeah right but after the emergency room story I now know 100% about the soul and it not only enforced my faith in our branch insertion Messiah but understand what happened when I looked down and saw myself laying on the ground with my friends standing there talking waiting for me to wake up! Thank you for all your work and wisdom I idolize no man but your my mentor and favorite Catholic my friend ! I even had my elderly mother listening to your stories recently and brought us together for a moment! Do you have a email or any way I could reach out ? Either way thank you sir for all that you do keep the faith and you’ll be in my prayers sir!
