South Africa has asked the International Court of Justice to order an immediate halt to Israel's incursion in Rafah.

It says as well as direct military attacks, Israel is ‘starving’ Palestinians in Gaza by obstructing access to food and medicines.

Israel has insisted it is acting in accordance with international law, dismissing the claims as “baseless blood libel”.

The country launched a military campaign on Gaza to destroy Hamas in response to the group's cross-border attack on southern Israel on 7 October, during which about 1,200 people were killed and 252 others were taken hostage.

More than 35,230 people have been killed in Gaza since then, according to the territory's Hamas-run health ministry.

They were kind enough to give them refuge in their own homes and land during WW2. They stabbed them in the back whilst screaming in pain demanding their seen as victims.

Who's responsible for making almost all international institutions worthless? Have we forgotten all the pretexts set before WW2? Are extreme greed, war economy and dehumanizing a certain sections of the world now the norms of the strongest nations of the world?
  • Israeli president said in the beginning that there's no uninvolved civilians in Gaza Israel finance minister said that returning the hostages is not a priority Israeli prime minister said in 2019 that funding hamas is his strategy It was never about the hostages it was never about dismantling hamas it's just meaningless revenge

  • "Since its establishment, Israel has engaged in brutal oppression of the rights of Palestinians. Thousands of Palestinians are imprisoned, beaten and tortured; children are taken from their beds and beaten by soldiers who are armed to the teeth." ~ Israeli activist miko Peled.

ICJ: Israel replied to ANC false accusations: 700 tunnels were identified in Rafah alone, including 50 to Egypt. Kidnapped are being held in the city… "Repeating a lie over and over does not become the truth. The war is not genocide, if the abductees are released and Hamas lays down its weapons - it will end.".
  • @JoshWine
South Africa has aligned itself with all the worst countries in the world. This vexatious lawfare undermines the credibility of the ICJ.

I do not understand. Do they even have the power to stop Israel or is this all just talk?
