Welcome to the video! I start this drive from Glencoe Village on the A82 road. This is the full, unedited version of my recent drive to the beautiful Glen Etive in the Scottish Highlands. You can check out my other Glen Etive video on my channel - and features drone footage of this unbelievably beautiful Glen. Planning a trip here, or the Highlands this year? Let me know in the comment below!

Glen Etive is a stunningly beautiful valley in the Scottish Highlands, known for its rugged landscapes, cascading waterfalls, and serene lochs. It's a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts, photographers, and nature lovers. Many films, including several James Bond movies, have been shot there due to its picturesque scenery.

As always, sit back, relax, and enjoy the video :)

  • I drove this exact route in June 22 on my first visit to Scotland, and what a wonderful experience it was!!
  • Stunning, beautiful scenery, those mountains ... the river. We have something similar in parts of our country, and the Scots settled there too (our South Island). Greetings from New Zealand ♥♥♥

Glen Etive is my "happy place". Tranquility in spades. The waterfalls are amazing and the rocks change colour up and down the river.

Fantastic Video wonderful scenery watching thinking to my self looking at my seventy year old legs how did I manage to walk in a day from Kingshouse to the shores of Loch Etive some thirty odd years ago on a Scottish Coast to Coast Walk Montrose to Oban that stretch looks an awful long way Thanks for posting 🙂

I drove this yesterday. They had roadworks here too would you believe it 🫠. It was great drive though and I walked around for a bit at Loch Etive.

Beautiful drive. I noticed a couple wild camping en route. I would love to experience that but guess busy in the Summer ?
  • Absolutely wonderful. Puts me in mind of the road from Kinlochewe to Torridon. Thanks.

I’d love to see the trip from Arisaig, via Mallaig (hoping the little car ferry still runs), across to Ardvasar on Skye and up through the island.
  • What an incredible drive that is...jawdropping scenery, thanks so much for sharing. Subscribed👍
  • Lovely video. We filmed a video like this and uploaded last week driving through Glencoe after coming back from Isle of Seil to Glasgow but I think you were luckier with the weather.🙂💙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏔

There used to be a kilted piper who regularly played at the roadside near the Western end of Glencoe: I remember seeing him during childhood trips. The tradition was handed down to his son. Is there still a piper?
  • Sweet to see you uploaded a 4K my friend.. Perfect timing afternoon low light golden hour :)))) The mountains just shine :)🤓:yt:💯❤‍🩹🙏🤳Uncut with just a sweet tweek of exposure and contrast as you pass through shadow and direct light :)) softly softly with the gain and lift Perfect to preserve the cold of the day mood :)) I notice the Skyfall passing place has been resurfaced,, But still a good practice to jump out take the 007 photo and move on quickly as there will usually be a bit of a que of Bond fans waiting for their turn at the photo,
