This tribute/mashup video combines the 2014 nature series 'Life Story' with the 2022-2023 paleo series 'Prehistoric Planet', which you can watch here: tv.apple.com/se/show/prehistoric-planet/umc.cmc.4l…

The narration and shots of David Attenborough, as well as the background music was recorded from the 'Life Story' blu-ray.

0:01 I love that David stood on the physical set of Prehistoric Planet to make it seem like these dinosaurs are still living with us in the present-day. I love that vibe.
  • if there are some things this series made me learn in my childhood was that: -barnacle goslings leap off cliffs when hatched (The most extreme showed it first, but I only watched that series after 3 years from this one) -pufferfish can make sand displays (at least one species) -flame bowerbirds and bonobos are a thing -first time I see male grouse fight
  • keep coming up with these edits,to use Sir's favorite terminology, they are spectacular! And,I guess, they are also yet another way for me to rewatch and re-experience Prehistoric Planet's beautiful imagery and visuals!

Like the last one this was a requested video that I thought looked fun to make. The next couple of videos will not be, unless we've inadvertently hit upon the same idea. You may feel free to leave requests as it is always fun to have more ideas in the pile. But I will make the videos I want make. Thanks for watching :)
  • Thank you. Life on our planet is awesome, it doesn't matter if many species do not exist anymore - at their time, they also made our planet so fantastic.
