In this video, I'm diving a bit deeper into the history of Seychelles and what Seychellois people are like. From interviews on the streets of Victoria to spending time at an awesome farm, I learned a lot about life in Seychelles and the role the people play in keeping this island paradise special.

Here are some Timestamps if you would like to skip around in the video:

I just found out about this country and instantly fell in love with with this hidden gem 💎. I always thought I would retire to Antigua 🇦🇬 and Barbuda 🇦🇬 but now I got Seychelles in my heart.
  • Thank you so much for portraying my Seychelles this way. Am so proud to be a Seychellois but I have such a rich background. Both my mother and father were born in Kenya, my grand mother on my mother's side was in Seychelles but with swiss and malagassy parents and my grand father was from Mauritius with Indian roots. Am truly a melting pot 😂😂

thank you so much for this video! i really enjoyed watching and learning more about seychells and the beautiful people of this magical place :)
  • Your very own 'Humans of Seychelles'! Loved it and especially the dogs wanting to be fed...haha i hope you fed them. Loved how Salifa's is repurposing and upcycling resources from her farm to build her new home...a pioneer of sustainability in Seychelles.
  • Very interesting video, to see before coming to Seychelles. Merci !

This is an amazing video about Seychelles! Salifa inspires me, if I got lucky to get the job I am applying for, I'll definitely look for her and meet her in person! 😊

Man you're really cool, calm, your videos are interesting and your ways very kind and appreciable. Also the music you use is just perfect, unusual. Also, I've been living in Scotland for almost two years and after all the difficulties to understand those people I find incredibly easy understanding you, which it's a pleasure. I've daydreamed about to move in Edinburgh a few years ago, and now I live there I'm starting to daydream about live in Seychelles, changing completely lifestyle and running away from the chaos and the weather conditions that (beautiful) Scotland offers... but for now it's just a dream. First of all me and my girlfriend are aiming to a travel there around next April/May, then who knows, will see! If was you, would you live there, for real? Keep posting contents, really appreciate them and it's nice to discover a very different point of view from the usual videos around. ✌

What an incredible video! Always proud of your hard work and insights
  • Thank you for creating this video that I can share with my international friends! They always ask me what Seychellois people are like and find it really interesting that I have Portugese, Chinese, French, English, American, Scottish ancestry. They all wonder how on Earth it came to be. Haha.
