It's 2024 and your tutorial is still reaching folks like me! Old, curly, silver-gray hair I cut myself is looking so good following your method. Am also able to give my husband even better haircuts. I purchased a good pair of Shark Fin Shears about a year ago when they were on sale and have been cutting my hair in a mirror (male cut). I never cut hair before. I just used your Uniform Layer Cut technique to cut my moms hair. She has not been to the beauty parlor since the pandemic started and it came out GREAT - she is very happy with the cut - Thanx Maureen!

Hiya, I’m from the UK and I wish to express my thanks to you. I’m fortunate enough to have a natural wave to the bottom of my hair and if cut correctly, it will automatically flick. The hairdresser that I have used for years retired and I sought another, with dire results. Using your step by step method, tentatively, I began to cut my hair. As I cut along the guide line, I could see just how badly my hair had been chewed. In any event and, thanks to you, it now looks really good. Love the cut! This is how I used to wear my hair. So many stylists just don’t get what a basic layer cut is. I have fine hair and so many times I’ve come out with “lines showing. Think I’ll take this video in to show her how to cut my hair.

I have watched every video I could find on uniform layered cuts and your is the best by far.

I am growing my pixie cut out and am almost a year into the process. It's growing nicely into a bob, about chin length now, but my hair is thick and unruly and I want layers. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for; I can have layers and keep the base length in the back so as it grows out, it will be nice and even and pretty. I am SO glad I found this, thank you!

Thank you so much for this wonderful video. My daughter just cut my hair using this as a guide. You were very clear with instructions. My daughter is left handed but cuts with right hand, at first she was hesitant but with your calm clear manner she was able to overcome her fear. My haircut included cutting a 10 inch ponytail off and then going to 2 inch layers. Thank you again for this excellent video

I think I will be cutting my aunt’s hair in the next couple of days. The hairdresser who promised to come cut her hair (she is not doing well and is declining). I have been cutting my layered curly hair for a year and a half (since corona virus pandemic began) so I think I’m ready. And, your video is EXCELLENT, something I so needed to see, since my aunt’s hair is a one-length type cut. THANK you, from the bottom of my heart!!💜
