actually, i found that the sphero bb-8 works smoother on carpet because he dosent spin around everywhere.

When I was in (Finnish) 6th grade my teacher, who was also the principal of our school, got like 10 of these small sphere BB-8’s for our school. It was super cool, loved it. We always raced them kn the halfway if we had time. I visited my school in December and they still had them. Yes my teacher/principal was a big fan of Star Wars, and he thaught us many thing about electronics, computers, robotin and everything. My achool was just regular small town school in Finland, but he was just into them and many of our project were like this.

What a kick ass reviewer you are! You completely get what people DON'T want. So many people that do reviews like this make it all about themselves and miss the point entirely. You don't. You review the product impartially, you get right to the point about the plus and minuses, and the excellent video and editing keeps things moving. Have you reviewed the Air Hogs Millennium Falcon drone and X-Wing Fighter r/c plane yet? I heard the Falcon drone looks awesome and flies awesome but the X-Wing looks great and flies awfully.

8:20 Actually sphero has great customer service and if you battery dies like mine did after a YEAR of use they will send you a new one just like they sent me one. So don't worry! :)

You forgot about the almost life size remote control/voice activated one. I have it. It is amazing. It functions just like the real BB-8 and responds to voice commands and will come to you when you call it.

It's sad that the Disney BB-8 is terrible, considering they made the movies and the droid

You should try this again with the droid depot bb8 at galaxy’s edge! :) he’s $99.99, but it’s worth it. It works similarly to hasbros. It comes with battery’s already in it. It doesn’t come apart easily, and the head doesn’t fall off. You can give him a personality chip at the depot itself to make it feel more like YOUR droid. However, it already comes with voice lines if you don’t wanna pay extra for the personality chip. But here’s what sold me: he will react and interact with areas in galaxy’s edge! I took him and laughed a lot at the characters reactions, and I was pretty surprised when I found out that BB-8 was actually looking around the area himself. It was sick! Definitely recommend!
