I build absurd solutions to solve puzzles in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. In this video I explore different physics and try to exploit them

The railings, although light, doesn't provide any lift. The railing actually has small, but significant weight. It's floaty-ness is due to it's high air resistance. You can see this if you shoot lasers at it. It'll move/propel with just lasers. The problem with the fans is that they're fast but they don't provide a lot of force. I would recommend the big wheel propeller as they have a ton of lift and will lift just about anything. 2 big wheels and 2 propellers should do it. Just remember that the big wheels will provide counter rotation so you'll need to use stabilizers. Either a single or sleeping orientation depending on what you're going for. ETA: I did a test just now. 2 props and 2 big wheels will keep it just barely off the ground/water. I had to add another set to get it fully airborne.

I remember someone took 2 stabilizers 1 railing and I believe a steering stick into a low gravity area and made a satellite, not a stick a mirror to make the dish. I believe it was in one of the early top gaming plays.

One neat thing with the stabilizers I learned is that you can get super fine angles by placing a few at different angles. And it'll split the difference and meet in the middle. If that makes sense. Also I wonder If having the boat upside down would let it fly. I know the physics probably doesn't extend to having air pockets but maybe it would idk.
  • Try stacking the railings like 6 or so, & attaching them in a way that encases a fan, but doesn’t connect to it. Activate the fan. The physics should make the contraption rise/fly very fast

I love messing around with physics like this! I like to put a single pair of stabilisers on any vehicle I create

I couldn’t get the railing off with two stabilizers, it looked like it wanted to come off but then didn’t. I ended up having to use rockers to get the damn thing off, haha.
  • Really great try with the boat, I really enjoyed watching 🤘🏽🔥
  • Turn the boat into a hot air balloon using the balloons and fire. It works I’ve tried it

wait, the railing thingy still works in 1.2.1?
