Aventon Aventure 2 vs Velotric Nomad 1 Ebike Comparison | Which One Is Right For You

I rode both and decided on the Nomad, the Adventure felt big and more sluggish, the Nomad much stronger and peppier and just felt more nimble! And also the Nomad felt like a torque sensor, no lag, just get and go!

I got the Nomad step over last month from a local shop that honored the on line price and assembled it at no charge. A few extras I grabbed include a mirror...the bike noise kind of drowned out being able to hear cars plus the EV cars are nearly silent Got a rear rack and a Bushwacker bag for me gear. I also got a suspension seat post...TOTALLY upgraded the comfort level.

Great comparison! I love the styling of both but settled on the Aventure.2 since a local bike shop had one for me to test ride. I really think people over-emphasize the top speed limit. Very seldom do I go much above 22 mph on my A.2, and it's not always because I don't want to work for it. It just doesn't make sense for most of the time if you have to take a turn or you hit an intersection. In all practicality, you're not going to notice the difference in top speed when you're going large distances.

good job, I have the Nomad. Just bought it. Also, have the Discover 1. Both great bikes. sports car compared to a big RV I tell my wife.

I have a Velotric Nomad and I love it! Super strong torque and and climbs hills with ease. I don't know what Velotric did to get such great torque, but I suspect it has a high amp controller. Look at TailhappyTV's video called "27 Ebikes VS ONE STEEP Hill!". The Aventure 1 could not make up the hill while the Nomad had no problem.

I got the Nomad 1 and my wife got the Aventon Pace 500.3. We pick them up tomorrow from an ebike shop. Best of both worlds. I will see which one I like best, torque or cadence . We have trek hybrid pedal bikes too. May not want to go back to actually peddling as much 😂. PS. There was a nice lady❤ who passed and she donated over 200k to RI residence, to where people can apply for a rebate of 1k and $400.00 depending on your financials towards an ebike purchased at a store only in RI. The 1k dried up. It is now $350-$750. The wife and i will get $700 total taken off our bill.

I am going to check out these two for my wife and I. I like that the Velotric comes in different colors. I see there is a place about an hour and 30 minutes away from me in Mass that has both.

I have the Velotric Nomad and I got to do a ride on the Aventure 2. The Velotric is a nice bike and performs well, I don't really have anything negative to say about it. But the Aventon is definitely a nicer bike and feels more refined. The torque sensor also works nice and you feel more like your riding a bike instead of just pedaling along.

There is no comparison. The torque alone sets the bikes with this sensor from the rest.

What's the battery range for these bikes? Like, on pas 3 or pas 5?
