Ewing and Barkley so under appreciated
-
the best era of games in nba, late 80's and 90's,not today games, best in Jordan's Era!!!
-
Barkley really was almost unstoppable during that 1993 season.
-
Patrick Ewing. My childhood hero. My first and best hero!
-
Ewing was superb in tight areas near the basket, one of the best.
-
My beloved Knicks were 37-4 at the garden that year 🥲
-
Best Era of NBA
-
prime Ewing and prime of barkley
-
Back when Defense matter
-
Greatest era of the NBA! Bring this league back to todays league.
-
this Ewing would be mvp every year in todays game,he would lead the leauge in scoring rebounding and blocks lol
-
I don’t give a flying fuck what anyone says if I’m building a team Barkley is my power forward. No matter who you mention. At 6’ 4 or 6’ 6” (regardless what height you believe) he was very undersized and ran the league in that position
-
This could have been a great Finals
-
Old school tuff, attitude & pure entertainment
-
2 of my favorite players growing up. Ewing so smooth and chuck a monster
-
This season most considered the knicks as the best team in the nba. Slightly ahead of the 2X defending champs Bulls. Ewing was still widely considered the best center of the time. Next season in 1994 Hakeem closed all best centers debates.

93’ Ewing was still healthy with no foot problems, Starks was balling, mason and Oakley were absolute THUGS and I loved every second of it. Just couldn’t quite get over the hump, year after year they came SO close. A few of those losses were BRUTAL! Reggie, MJ, the Miami Heat😂, we had a lot of enemies it seemed.

High AF , glad I went down this rabbit hole .As a Knicks fan who grew up on 90s Knicks these Ewing battles are amazing

A few things... -This would have been an interesting Finals matchup if the Bulls hadn't made it. -Barkley was a better shot blocker than most people realized. -It didn't take long for Oakley & Barkley to get into it lol. -People forget Tom Chambers was on this Suns team. He was a former all star that who had averaged 27 a few years prior. When he took at least 15 shots, he averaged at least 20+. -Richard Dumas was probably the most underrated player on Phoenix but he couldn't stay away from banned substances. He wasted his talent.
