Man this made me tear up a bit. Some people say that videogames are a waste of time, but some of us have our best memories online. So happy that someone was able to do this for us.

we did this back in College 10 years ago actually actually. set up a local server that our x-boxes thought was the official server. So cool to see people actually doing this for the game.

Fuck, after playing MCC for the last like decade I forgot how much even just the menus, UI, and HUD make my brain fuckin quiver with nostalgia, shoutout to these legends.

I don't have words for how much nostalgia this brings back. The best two years of my adult life were living with two very good friends and absolutely living and breathing Halo 3 on the 360. Life's pretty much been crap since then, but this might be a lifeline to an oasis of good memories. Thanks to everyone who came together to make this happen.

Amazing. However, Halo 2 on Xbox Live on the original Xbox in 2004 was my best online FPS experience. I was still a kid but learning where to superbounce and get out of the maps was so cool!

Oooohh no way, I’m one of the last OG’s that played out the 360 wave. Spent lots of time making montages and everything on this channel. So good! I’m in disbelief that there’s even a possibility that it’s back. I love that! This game is beyond legendary. The fact that there’s no PC players on this one makes it like how it should be! MCC controls are all out of whack as well. Feels like a different game, takes me a bit longer to get into the feel of things. Love that this is an option again, such a great game

The Menus, The Maps, The pre/post game Lobby’s, but I think what I miss most.. was how amazing the H3 Theatre was. I used to make so many clips and screen shots, and watch pro gameplay with my team in the lobby talking strategies and taking notes, and the file sharing was flawless.

"Hey Mint Blitz wassup!" I'm so happy to see that a ton of other fans love this game as much as I do. This game was the catalyst for a ton of life-long experiences for me, and I'm sure it was the same for a lot of you. Hats off to the folks who worked on this project and brought this to life, yall are boneafide Halo devs in my book.

I spent my entire childhood playing halo, so this hit me super hard. The classic experience of halo is amazing. The menus, the music, the community, the memories etc. It makes me super nostalgic, and I can’t wait to hopefully give it a try. MCC is great for allowing us to play the games we love, but there’s nothing like the real thing

They had made the sunrise project around a year ago! I’ve been playing and streaming it! But yea the bringing back of EVERY playlist to ever exist is INSANE to me! We were playing ranked team objective, ranked grifball, ranked team melee, etc! And btw… all your ranks are still PRESENT! Been apart of the OG halo 3 discord for years now and every time I play OG halo 3… it’s still 100 times better than anything current halo is today!
