US Secretary of State Antony Blinken evaded question on the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh fearing embarrassment. The question was asked within hours of the news that Israelis had killed Haniyeh in Tehran.

Since there are credible reports that Israelis carried out this attack in a sovereign country with the intelligence input provided by the US, Blinken did his best to avoid this question.

  • How REALLY involved has America been in this conflict with Israel? Intelligence support? weapons supplies? etc etc..
  • @Dakshahathi
He had also lost almost his entire family but Blinken does not care

  • @eleghari
This could not have happened without US support and approval. So 'complicit' is the right word!

What rubbish. You are funding them & fighting for them & they are still weak against Hamas a resistence group of 40000 fighting with homemade weapons

This will not change a thing. Plenty more to take his place. They think they're smart trying to scupper negotiations. Long live the resistance.....
  • This clearly shows Isrl doesn’t want peace or negotiations. First rule is not to kill the people you negotiate with. Barbarism
  • We denounce political violence at home as we spread it all over the world
  • Nothing takes away from ceasefire... BUT they killed the main guy in ceasefire talks..!! What is this guy smoking or snorting.?
  • Blinken says nothing should derail ceasefire talks as if they can kill any and everyone and expect their adversaries to commit to peace.
