A problem that I believe is becoming more and more common yet no solutions, as of yet. I've had this issue for more than several years and across multiple builds and I'm all out of ideas but I don't want to give up.
All help greatly appreciated!

  • I've had this problem for several years, but for me it affects every device in my home: TVs, consoles, smartphones, etc. It has had a significant impact on my mental health. While I'm sorry to see that so many are dealing with it, I am glad that the issue is gaining more traction. It feels like more people are beginning to notice/experience it. Hopefully this will, eventually, lead to some kind of resolution.

If you ever work the issue out then please let me know. I have tried a different wall socket the other side of my room and it improved a bit but not too much

Interesting. I often search these issues, had a video on intel latency months back, felt like 3 out of 10 pcs did this same thing but on newer 12/13 gen intel cpus. Clearly you are on Ryzen, maybe there is an issue with many peoples power draw and their outlets just not handling it properly. Appreciate the video.
  • The infamous EMI input lag.. there is multiple ongoing threads on blurbuster about it. I too have this problem for several years now... had multiple different rigs and can't put the finger on the problem. It's better at night but never perfect. I quit the competitive seen because of that. I might be due to bad grounding or just having dirty electricity fed to your house. It could be your house or the neighbors.. GOOD LUCK and hit me up if you ever find a solution.

Same problem. I came across this when assembling my first computer 3.5 years ago. During this time, I have changed 5 computers and the entire peripheral, including cables. My computer works perfectly in my brother's house.

At 0:16, when talking about animation, it indeed sounds just like packet loss in Halo. Expect similar for online-multiplayer FPS titles in general. It seems to be even more obvious in the DirectX 9-based Halo Custom Edition 1.0x, (1.0.10) when packet loss is in progress. Ironically, with no packet loss, I can have a good game with 200 ms ping! And in Halo: The Masterchief Collection, I often seem to feel like nothing is registering, yet jerkiness doesn't seem quite as obvious as with the old DirectX 9-based Halo Custom Edition. And for Windows and the BIOS, I especially in recent BIOSes, seen lag with mouse pointer! For the OS, it's hard to tell what is wrong.

I have been dealing with this problem for years. I tried everything, but I came to the conclusion that the problem is a grounding problem, with the tests I did. When the problem occurs, can you measure the grounding value of the socket you plug the computer into with an avometer. If you don't know how to do it, roughly (when you touch one of the avometer probes to the protrusion bar of the socket and the other to the neutral part), if the resulting value is over 1 volt, it means that the building you live in has a grounding problem and this is the main reason for this nonsense. At the same time, you can observe that the problem is relieved a little more in rainy weather, and this is related to the more active operation of the grounding system in wet ground.
  • It’s definitely poor power quality from the mains. Except my input lag worsens when someone in my house uses the electric stove. My Ps5 and Xbox also have the same issue it’s driving me insane.

suffering from this for past 5 years. Still not solution till date....
  • The only solution is to play off grid with a generator. Problem is it’s very expensive especially if you want to play let’s say for 6 hours. The generator itself will run you about 2k-3k depending on your use case and how many devices you want running off it. Turkish player badboyyy2k had to do this at his old house due to how bad his input use to be there.

Have you tried running your drives in AHCI mode, instead of raid? Remember reading a post about something like this and they found out it was due to that toggle
