UPDATE ON THE BRIGHTBUG GLITCH: It will work whenever your character is wet, that is all. You can get wet by rain, puddles, lakes, those water jars on Iron Keep, equipping Pharros Mask, etcetera. 1. Get wet 2. Use the Brightbug 3. Quit game 4. Load your game file and done It will only disappear when you go into a loading screen (warp, die, etc).

Dark Souls II in 2021? Yes please. Gonna make another 39k run.

I’ve got another one that ymfah made a video on a while back. Fume knights sword glows slightly for about 25 seconds before he goes to second phase. By using any healing item when he’s in this state, he will do a sword slam attack on you. The slam will stop the sword from glowing, and you can fight for another minute or so before it glows again. You can just repeat this every time his sword starts glowing to skip his second phase all together.

I am a regular viewer of Dist2 and Ymfah, so I already knew a lot of these. But it seems so cool to have more in depth explanations of them instead of the split second executions. It's amazing to believe that a lot of these are all used in speedruns, usually needing to be executed quickly one after the other.

finally ! Someone who pronounces "Huntsmans Copse" correctly

Had a shitty day and then Phobia uploaded. Day's still shitty but at least I can tune it out.

Before making the Pursuer fast kill glitch, you need to make sure you have enough stamina to do the run from the ladder to the bonfire. If you walk even for half a second you'll miss the oportunity because the Pursuer will leave very shortly after being dropped by the bird thing.

I've waited for the return of the series welcome back king
  • @genzu1111
There's something about ds2 that keeps me coming back. Much more than 1 and 3.

My favorite glitch I recently discovered: if you spam, and I mean spam as fast as you can, block while running or walking, your legs will flail around all over the place
  • @AbyssalPlague
Off topic, I'm glad I'm not the only one who uses the shadow mask. I feel like nobody uses it.
  • I love this game so much. I discovered it years ago before the rest of the Soulsborne series, and it played a huge part in keeping me sane while kicking an ugly habit. I just can't believe that years later I'm still discovering new things about it, along with the rest of the Soulsborne series 🖤

If you use a rusted coin the bright bug buff goes away. Fyi
  • @spencergage95
Thanks for the infinite brightbug glitch! I’m doing a “thicc” build (max over-encumberance ar all times) and so certain boss fights are very difficult because I have no choice but to tank them. This helps out tremendously!
  • @iCom3nt
Pharro's Mask makes you wet, I assume it works with the Brightbug glitch then

Attunment Swap Glitch: Allows you to transfer the uses of one spell to another until unattuned, persists through deaths, loading screens, and bonfire sits - PC only - Equip the spell you want the spells on, preferably unequip all other spells inittially - Open the bonfire and open the travel menu, select a bonfire, majula works fine - As you start to travel, use your mouse to left click, right click, and then select a small pop up menu that says 'back' - immediately head over to the attune spells menu - wait for the travel menu to get darker and darker, right before you travel the screen will flash again with color. - during this short window, left click on the spell you want to take the uses away from, such as a basic soul arrow - do it to early and you'll just have the basic spell equipped, do it too late and you'll have the original spell equipped with no changes - Just right you'll have the intended spell with a transferred amount of uses. When you finally get the timing down, it's super consistent and you should get it AT MOST two tries.

Subscribed when your Dark Souls 1 glitches came out when I just beat DS1 and then now I’m almost done with Dark Souls 2 and this one comes out. Perfect timing. Thank you, great work. Looking forward to the 3rd!
  • I think the infinite bright bug works anywhere when your character is wet

I love your glitch deep dives, always find something no other souls youtuber has covered.
