Zeus always be like: He offended me. Guess I better sleep with his wife. Hera just be like: Instead of being mad at my husband I'll just despise his children.
-
Hades in mythology: a chill guy doing his job. Hades in movies: playing devil.
-
I like how the Princess was the only one who disagreed with fighting the gods yet she's chosen as the sacrifice
-
Hades in movies is always portrayed as a "bad guy", sure he's the ruler of the underworld but in mythology, he's a pretty good guy! he's never cheated on his wife, does everything fairly and never intervenes and kills humans
-
Medusa: *desperately tries to petrify the Djinn* The Djinn: 🗿
-
I remember seeing this when I was a kid, the "release the kraken!" scene is too iconic
-
That smirk the man who jumped down on Medusa gave as he turned into stone has gotta be one of the most satisfying/badass/“ur fucked" smirk I've ever seen
-
"You have destroyed my statue, I'll destroy you" Most Human thing ever.
-
The kraken in the movie has arguably one of the most horrifying and monstrous roars i have ever heard... Truly incredible
-
Nobody: The movie: “Decided to do some aggressive cuddling with the queen”
-
This is one of the only movie remakes that I respect : they gave a great show and respected most of the original.
-
Medusa's face when she can't turn him to stone and when she dies makes my heart hurt.
-
Interesting fact: If a Scorpion loses it's stinger it doesn't just loose it's weapon, but also it's ability to take a dump. Don't ask me how I know this, I am not proud of it.
-
I remember seeing this in theaters with my friend and I was actually kinda blown away with how good it looked especially the monsters and stuff
-
Life lesson : never ever underestimate gods power
-
I thought it was quite strange that the Kraken was able to roam the oceans freely without angering Poseidon, since the oceans were the domains of Poseidon.
-
I kinda hate how every movie with like greek mythology hades is always the villain but really in the myth hes a chill dude
-
Can I just say that the main character never dies and the one that the main character loves always dies
-
props to zeus for allowing his son to life a peaceful life as a demigod

It’s so sad the Medusa is always painted and a bad guy considering that her life was ruined by Zeus himself.
