Everybody talking about missing them vlogging together but I like them in their podcast more… I like Jess in her own vlogs but for them together, I love the podcasts!!!!!
  • @seyalcops
Bobby does a great job at seeing both sides of the story 👏 good on him
  • Jess is right about the drive thru thing because being on the headset for those speaker boxes you can never hear the person in the passenger seat!! It’s so hard and we all wish for the person in the drivers seat to say the order. She can even repeat it to you in the moment and you as the driver say it louder for the speaker box
  • I live for these podcasts. It makes your relationship seem so much more realistic. Social media obviously makes people seem perfect and that’s super huge with you guys, but the podcasts are so relatable. I feel like I’m really seeing you guys as people and not “influencers”
  • @HelloMoto_
I’m with Jess on the drive thru order though.. the driver is the designated spokesperson! Plus it’s so awkward to be screaming your order from the passenger seat
  • 30:02 on this point of Jess wanting to resolve things herself sometimes: this is so important! Sometimes we know that we’re upset over a small thing, and other factors may be causing us to overreact and we don’t want to start a fight. When this happens I just tell my husband: “I need some time to be upset/annoyed/mad right now”. And that’s his cue to *leave me alone*! He says okay then walks away immediately. I take my time to process the issue, do something that makes me happy, then I come back and let him know I’m good. Sometimes I’ll tell him what the issue was (if it’s something I think he should be aware of/do better on next time) and sometimes we just don’t discuss it because it’s a me problem. This is literally the reason we’ve never had a real fight (yelling/name calling/storming out/etc) in the 9+ years we’ve been together. LET PEOPLE BE UPSET AND WORK OUT THEIR FEELINGS!!😂
  • I lovvee these podcasts.. Jess has sooo much more personality here than on the vlogs.. and she’s sooo funny 💛 but then again Gabe’s homeschool so … it’s balanced .
  • FYI Jess is 1,000,000 million percent correct on ordering in a DT... my most hated situation managing something like a dunkin... is a passenger order, they're hard to hear to begin with let alone if they're soft spoken, and even more so if it's windy or rainy. Realize you can hear us fine, it's hard to hear you.

i feel like it'd be easier for the person closest to the window make the order for everyone. even if you have to pass the order along, or just make sure you got everything written down before you get there, that way it feels much smoother and easier for the drive-thru staff to hear it

I think the intention of this video actually turned into great advice from Jess and Gabe and Bobby too! Because a lot of these “issues” were either resolved or not happening as much anymore and I think a big thing I saw was intentionality and the want to serve the other. Beautiful❤️
  • guys this episode is what i have hoped for with the podcast. It’s super honest and let’s us see you as real ppl❤
  • I really love the podcasts. I listen to them in the morning while I travel to work, and it just makes me laugh and makes the driver better. Thanks for posting them!❤
  • @treesa2020
I think the intention you guys had with this podcast really worked. These episodes are so relatable, we as a community, are getting to know you guys on another level and It really does feel like we're doing life together . Great Job!
  • @claramay1814
This podcast never disappoints! Listening always brings me joy❤
  • Great episode!!💗 Also just have to say I looooove your intro...the music, the colors, the font, the logo spinning like a record, you two dancing in the corner...love it all so much, so well thought out❣💯👩‍❤‍👨
  • Bob was so intentional with everything he said. Loved this, and love your friendship <3
  • @sarameier
I never miss a podcast episode. Love these so much 💗 You both always have me laughing. Bobby is such a good mediator here!
  • Jess you’re SO right about the drive through, we’re a family of six, and my dad always asked 5 minutes before we arrived what do we want and he remembered everyone’s order!!
