Annette's voice is gorgeous! Wow! Hearing her mother reading her letter at the end, really just tore me up inside. The strength she had to pursue justice & find Felix. She kept all of her pain & suffering inside, to fight for her daughter & the other women, before she'd allow herself to grieve. My heart goes out to her! ❤

OK, how can a coroner get away with saying that a victim who was beaten, gagged and drowned died accidentally? Why didn’t anyone go after that coroner???? It’s obviously a murder. 🤬
  • @enigmatiika
It sickens me that the authorities can even refuse to look into obviously criminal activity and bad circumstances. This mother was so strong
  • @amgguy4319
She accomplished what paid law enforcement professionals could not. She wasn't compensated financially, but only received a secondary consultation. So very sad.
  • @rachealsmith5138
How crazy is it that this case was turned down by so many enforcement agencies… and a reporter had to write a book before it was acknowledged! My heart goes out to the families…

I am 100% sure Ike Abshire (unknowingly) held on to life untill he helped the police with this case, and you can't convince me otherwise! 90 years old, still a clear mind, died 3 months after, and he was the key to the succes... He stayed on this earth long enough to help, only then did his body give up on him, I'm sure of it!

Mary Rose is an absolute SUPER HERO!! A mother knows NO limits when it comes to her child/children. I'm sure when she was entering that window at the trailer home she wasn't feeling any fear; only hope in finding answers. My God she is AMAZING!! I praise her through & through.
  • @Corrie-_-
It's absolutely heartbreaking how many people lost their lives and their murderers got away with it. Losing a child would be the absolute worst but this goes to show how much we love our children.

I feel sorry for the son who had to grow up in such a horrible environment. Glad to see that he was able to have his own family after he got away and grew up

This brought me to tears. I have a daughter similar to Annette in a bad relationship. I worry for her every day of my life.

The pathologist who labeled the first murder as an accidental drowning cost a lot more people's lives and decades of heartache. They knew it was murder and could have put him away forever. They should be publicly disgraced.

I'm sorry, I didn't graduate from coroner school, but if someone was fished out of the river still wearing a BLINDFOLD with a huge wound in the back of her head, "accidental drowning" would not be my best guess of how they died.
  • @jackmeeks2294
Climbing through broken glass in a window way up off the ground at 64, wow! The strength and fearlessness of a mother protecting her children, never ceases to amaze me.
  • @doritoreiss8089
Who is the “friend” who Annette stayed with so she could graduate high school, and why on earth was Annette allowed to go on a road trip with a 40-something year old man without even consulting her mother about it?! Someone really dropped the ball there. I feel sorry for Mary for trusting such a dunce with her daughter.
  • @marcanthony8873
This woman, this MOTHER, is an absolute LEGEND. It makes it that much sadder that she didn’t get to keep being a mother to her daughter
  • @aromaladyellie
Mary Rose still considering her daughter to get justice without the conviction of Annette’s death specifically is so rare. That’s a beautiful strength so few have.
  • @cattinkerbell4946
The amount of incompetence by authorities during his murder "career" is breathtaking.
  • I know a lady who passed away without knowing her daughters killer. She had always hoped. But decades brought a divorce and the others kids not wanting to be around her. My adult daughter made friends with her in a local bar. I met her about 3 times. I hope Sonny has finally found peace.
  • @Nikisright
This is one of the saddest cases I've ever heard. RIP to those girls and the ones we didn't hear about. I hope that evil thing is burning in hell. To the remaining family members, I hope you all stay in touch.
