  • Just for clarification, we study the end games after dinner, not before breakfast. Before breakfast we practice the openings.
  • It's been 2 3 years watching you. All my best wishes, brother. Watching our players seems so good. Cheers mate.
  • @BrandonBB4
Take a shot (of water) every time Antonio says "opposition"

#suggestion: Hi Agad! not sure if you are aware, but Faustino Oro from Argentina is currently playing the "Cerrado IM de Barcelona" and just needs 1 point in the last 2 matches to get his last IM norm. Today, if he wins (or at least hold a draw and another one tomorrow) it will become the youngest IM player of history, but even if he doesn´t get the norm, he is the youngest player on reaching 2200, 2300, a NM title, an IM norm and also on reaching 3000 on lichess on rapid (I think - or bullet). Would be awesome if you can cover some of his games, i.e. yesterday he won a game where he was 100% accuracy on his firsts 21ish moves!!! and he didn´t finish 100% since he went for an end game where he can exchange quicker. It was round 6 against Alex, Villa Tornero - Thanks for your time and content, been following your channel for some years now. Cheers!
  • @anilbista7445
After following this channel for 5 years and following Magnus for 7 years , I realized nobody plays Catalan like Magnus Magnus quite often gives his Catalan bishop and attacks on queen side
  • Fascinating stuff with the kings wandering around at the end
  • Fortunate for Gukesh Pragg did not find the moves he needed to win this game reminded me of a game during I believe the candidates where it looked like Pragg had an advantage in the endgame I think it also was a 3 against 2 pawn endgame in which Gukesh was able to draw the game India should definitely be proud of these two great players
  • Yes the Catalan may explode to horrific complications and that's where I lose.
  • @mothecat776
Hey Agadmator. This seems to be a very complex version of "Opposition". I would say it should be included in books that talk about opposition and Triangulation! As a very special case.... What do you think??
  • @aravindappat
The quote is clearly a nod to the discussion Yasser had about the meaning of the word Initiative during the commentary for yesterdays games.
  • @iyappank635
Suggestion Boris spassky vs Bobby Fischer 1992 Match
  • Wow! Thanks for the interesting game. It's hard to believe except we saw it.
  • Thanks for the commentary - snd all the others over many years. 5:57 "You don't have to think twice about before centralising your queen" - Gukesh apparently has one thought every six minutes 😄
  • 11:14 so that h5 move right away, because first thought was opposition. I guess neither saw it because clocks were low and they were under a lot of stress, and that leads to errors. Another great video, and another great game.
  • Shocking how badly this endgame was played by both players.
  • 49th viedo on Pragg One more game to make half century Pragg is star in this channel 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
  • @Ghost_Cube
that made my stomach upset that prag missed the win :(
