Dude, I loved this game when it came out. I played it as a kid and the nightmare fuel was real. Your video is really cool and I think you should do a commentary on each of the games. Not a full play through but a short commentary over the campaign.

I'll go ahead and say i am a walking resistance lore book, I've read every wiki page, tweet, press interview, book and article. The games themselves. The old website and promos. I know the lore so well I'd love a chance to write a script for em. Russia right after world war 1. You are a man tasked with protecting Malikov. The game ends with him being liberated by SRPA but the player you are dies or gets infected and becomes a hybrid. Malikov himself confirms that he was fighting in Russia for years before SRPA found him and I wanna know what they were up to (aside from the cloven that will always haunt me) While i dont disagree with your takes, if you dig into the game you can find out the story and characters are well written and developed, but yeah the game didnt maintain consistency and the way the story was told wasnt the best. Theres a lot of info that covers bugs or plot holes but the game needed a throughline. We root for hale but in a drab grimey game. Works for horror shooter they were going for, especially back when it came out. The second game tried to be cod too much and the characters needed more development, and when you do find out the info the game offers about them, its after they are dead lol so like eh. If they took their time and developed a bit more, wed have a series like cod but with aliens from the 50s changing history. 3 was the best story and gameplay but it was also the last entry in a series barely going. I think the massive changes are what brought this franchise down. If they didnt try to make it like other games, and gave us more stuff like from 3, we may have gotten more content. We still might but the series needs to be fixed before it can come back

Resistance was such a great series. 2 was my personal favorite; just hard enough without being unfair.
