- Gonna teach you some practical ways to make multiple niches work together without your content feeling like it's all over the place!

In this video, I'm discussing how you don't have to pick a niche on YouTube, Instagram, or any other social media platform. Instead, you can focus on producing content that interests you and connects with your audience.

As a content creator, it's important to be multi-passionate. You don't have to choose a single genre or focus your content on a specific topic. Instead, produce content that interests you and connects with your audience. If you follow these tips, you'll be able to reach your goals and creative ambitions without restricting yourself to a specific niche!

Your videos are the first time I've heard of Niche layering and it honestly set me free. I am multi-passionate and it's so true, I can see myself getting bored of just doing one thing for years. Because I'm totally thinking long term. I just recently created a mind-map and a flow for what I'm going to be filming and I am so excited to see how it all works out!
  • I love this concept. I think hyper-focusing on a niche can hold so many creators back. Thanks!
  • I love the concept of niche layering. Having your core content and then layering in other small content pillars makes a well rounded channel. Especially since YouTube is a long game platform

I am so multi-faceted that I find myself stuck and overwhelmed with sticking to a certain niche when really I have no clue what my niche is. But sometimes I want to be serious sometimes i want to have fun. It’s like what I feel like at the moment. But this video came right on time. Because I really just want to be ME!
  • So so so on time! I created fifty leven pages trying to niche every part of my life and this just proved it’s not completely necessary. Some ideas deserve their own home for sure but they all have a place in my universe. Thanks so much for validating my vision ❤
  • @Ndagire
This is exactly what I was searching for on YouTube but couldn't find it, I love what I talk about the UNITY of Africa and DIASPORA but I sometimes feel stuck, I want other things to talk about, I love being myself too, so I really needed this to my ears. Thank you.
  • The layering method is such a goldmine for multi-hyphenate creators. And you're right; making your layers represent the authentic you is absolutely essential. I think that's the value of crafting your brand story first. You don't need a singular niche, but having a foundational brand, theme, and identity is far more effective than niching down. Also, many creators end up switching niches years down the line lol.
  • Love these tips! Definitely will be implementing on my channel! I’m still super new here and hoping to break past 1k soon ❤
  • I have loved the term "layering" since I saw it in your previous video! Because it is exactly what I want to do with my channel - thank you for sharing your experience with this! Vivi
  • This video is right on time! I think shorts are a great opportunity to layer and add depth to your main content. ☺️
  • This is what I've been waiting for. I'm a pokemon youtuber with 47k subs, And I feel like I'm growing out of my content. I want to explore new topics 'cause the original goal of my channel is to explore new things, It just so happened that pokemon go content blew up so I doubled down on it.
  • This is exactly what I’ve been doing. So happy you speak on this. I hate the word niche lmao
  • @LeaFaye
This has been my constant problem that keeps me paralyzed
  • Thank you for being you!! By far one of the most relatable and thorough YTers I follow. This has helped me to understand how to approach content creation without feeling the pressure of being in one specific niche! I just want to be myself and share. thank you
  • @jaslynnn.d
Thank you for this because I’m wanting to become a well rounded content creator! I hated the feeling of being put in a box when I once had a following for fitness! Now it’s more lifestyle and I’m wanting to utilize YouTube and felt so pressured to niche down!
  • @ayothomas131
Love this video!!!!!!! This FINALLY was an answered prayer for me as a multipassionate entrepreneur. I used to struggle with content because I did not have one product that I could sell that fit into content but I own a business and I love to empower women and I love health and wellness. I have been trying to figure out how to create content around all of it. This video answered my prayer:)
  • This is amazing advice! I never want my viral content to dictate what I create from day to day ❤
  • @hfortenberry
Thank you!! 🙏 This is EXACTLY what I needed to hear tonight. I’ve been thinking about this ALL DAY literally trying to figure out how to position my channel so that I’m not so boxed in with my content pillars. I have over 1,000 video ideas/title drafts but they’re across a LOT of subtopics of sustainability (which is a massive topic). And I’m a perfectionist so I felt like I needed to niche down more inside that general topic, but didn’t want to. When you said that word (sustainability) after me searching all day for some direction, my ears perked up and sure enough you had the exact message I needed to hear regarding layering. I’d never heard that concept before. I think it was divine intervention. I am feeling a lot better now. Thank you! ❤ Subscribed!
  • Thank you so much, Erin. This came in timely. I'm still in the early stages of my channel and what you're sharing is really foundational. More power to you and this community. 🥰
  • Oh my! I have been eating your content for the past month and it has been very helpful. This Video and the "I have lots of interests..." video are what I needed. I also shot my first vlog after watching one of your video on how to vlog. You are right, vlogging is not easy, but I find my speaking to the camera while vlogging was more natural. Thanks for all the amazing tips.
