  • Love the floating roses! My daughter was married in an atrium at a botanical garden. Our table centerpieces featured a glass bowl with grape stems twisted around the bowl. Then we had some small rocks on the bottom with floating red gerber daisies! It was gorgeous and simple. The atrium had a floating rock stream inside, so we also floated the red gerber daisies throughout the stream!

Beautiful floating centerpiece thanks for sharing. First year growing Princess Alexandra of Kent I saw this rose on your garden tour and loved the color planted two in my garden. I’ve had great luck with David Austin James Galaway climber pale pink blooms all season in a sunny location. Another amazing rose is Mortan Blush at Home Depot another continuous to bloom.
  • I had leaves like you have on your rose when I lived in the Twin Cities, but it was on all plants of certain plants varieties and not just one random plant. Plus almost all of my roses would get eaten when they were in the bud stage and would not even make it to an open rose. It was Asian beetles. I have not seen them in zone 3 in NW WI though. Kind of strange!
