To title a video "KW Suspension VS BC Racing Coilovers... Which one to buy?" then make the first 4 minutes about headlight restoration?

I purchased BC coils for my E36 almost 8 years ago and still going strong. I mostly use that car as my stanced ride. I bought a G30 a few years ago, but this time I'm going with KW. Mostly because of the engineering philosophy. I wanted the E36 to just be a slammed, weekend warrior, while the G30 is more of a performance Daily Driver. For anyone saying BC Coils are crap, they are just riding name brand.

Yep it will work a couple days is right! Only fix is clear coating in high UV clear.

How can you have a comparison video for coilovers and not even mention performance or ride characteristics?

I had the V1 on my BMW F30 328I now, is it fine if I go with BC racing BR on my B9 A4 without noticing drop in performance or quality?

Hi my name is RON and I would like to ask for advice on which coilovers is good and give the best ride for my 2017 BMW X4 m40i. Im in NY and mostly daily driving. The roads here are really not so nice with a lot of holes and bumps. Im choosing between the BC RACING BR or the KW V2. Which would you recommend me to buy? ty
  • DIY with a 2x (2 part w epoxy) best clear Uber ever used!
  • enjoyed your video on KW V2 vs. BC coilers. Question: my family vehicle is a 2020 X5 with M sport package on the 22" wheels and performance brake calipers. I've ordered (back ordered) H&R sport springs to lower ride height 1.4 inches and 11mm spacers...it is totally a street vehicle so looking to improve the stance and optimize the ride quality without harshness-should I consider the K&W V2 coilover instead? other than price difference is there benefit in your opinion to going to the KW V2? Thanks
  • Thank you for the video can you recommend any place near Tacoma Washington to get BC coilovers installed? Thank you
  • I am on my second set of front coilovers (at my own cost) from BC now and had used them on a previous car (2005 Impreza STi) and I can not in good faith recommend them as a product. Initially they performed great but they really lack in reliability, build quality and also their support is hopeless. On my 2012 EVO X they clunk, bind and the ride quality has degraded significantly after just a few thousand kilometers of mostly street use. At this point I may as well have saved up the extra cash and opted for a set of Ohlins or KWV3's and had a better experience. Personally I would say rather save up and buy a higher quality product as you are going to pay for going the cheaper route in the long run.

KW only makes v1 for my acura, so i guess im going BC... At least I can be confident that BC is a good product. Thanks for the video
  • @adrianc7372
I want a lower ride about 1.5 to 2 inches max but am looking to not sacrifice comfort too much. So which one is more comfortable in terms of ride quality and absorbing the bumps?
  • @chrisginoc
Just bought a new Supra 6MT and was going to go with some HAS HKS Springs, but just found out about BC. They offer a $1,050 coilover set for Supras from BC. Would you recommend for just normal street, weekend driving maybe some canyons and small stuff?
  • @HAULUUZ
    Can BC Coilovers be rebuilt?
  • @user-ix9hl4uw5i
It would be great to compare KW with RS-R. I made 60K with my RS-R's and I'm so, so satisfied... Now, I'm waiting for my new BRZ-tS and I'll go for RS-R once again.

I used BC Coilovers on my 335xi until spring this year. After a year of using them I had to take them out. Unfortunately, I can't recommend them. I don't know if that's a platform issue or what but the ride quality on these was horrible. Quality of these is not great either. Shocks wore out too quick, after 6 months of using them I was experiencing symptoms of blown shocks. Initially the car was stiffer, handled nicely but that was gone way too soon. I've changed to OE shocks and lowering springs and the ride was better than on BC's but now my rear end is bouncing and the front is crashing on bumps so I've finally ordered KW V1. I've only heard good things about them and they are German brand so the quality will definitely be there. Hope I'm not wrong.
