Who would be upset that they're using GTA IVs' Euphoria Engine?? By far my favorite game engine and game. Still playing IV today!

Rockstar team is such an L. They should get these modders in their team instead of shutting or taking them down. They are really revolutionary.

Who would win? A multi billion company remastering their own game with millions of dollars? Or a random bunch of passionate people with cigarettes and red bulls in some basement?

I'm definitely getting it. It's a shame though that the actual developers - Rockstar - are either incapable or unwilling to do something like this, or both.

This is like a childhood dream come true. I wish Tommy wasn’t cut out of the franchise and we’d get an actual Vice City remake or second part. The hours I spent in VC back on PS2 are uncountable. Such good memories. If the modding crew reads this. Thank you very much for your efforts guys. If the mod is finally released I will definitely get it.

Wow. Just realised that Vice City was released in 2002, 16 years after its 1986 setting. In 2024, we're another 22 years past the release of Vice City. I don't know... 1986 felt so retro to me in 2002, but 2002 doesn't feel so long ago to me now.

Gator Keys area added would be awesome... Some more elements from definitive edition like the grass and sea life spawn rates...... (Fish, Sharks, Dolphins and Turtles) And of course Reshade support

Happy to see this happening. I hope that because they are using the GTA 4 engine they could maybe also improve the models and textures to be higher resolution and more polygons. I know it takes a lot of work but if they can make vice city look like GTA 4 which is still today very pretty with ENBs then it would be the ultimate remake for vice city

GTA VC Remake based on GTA IV Engine, It actually makes sense cuz OG GTA VC heavily used assets from GTA 3 even all animations were used in GTA VC The modder who made GTA VC Remake really observed the situation that Rockstar had at that time so he used the GTA IV engine not the GTA V Engine which is a nice touch

Honestly what Vice City need more than a graphic overhaul is a better map. Unlike SA VC's map is too small and compact for today's standards...
