My subscribers have asked for more videos about Paris neighborhoods discovery, so, here's for you a beautiful stroll in the neighbrorhood where it all started: the Île de la Cité in the middle of the Seine River.

This stroll will take you less than 2 hours, if you don't visit any site or monument, but it can also take you more than half a day should you take your time to visit all the wonders you will see!

I hope you'll enjoy it!

Of course, as usual, the map of my walk: www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1ZEHbFqvegNBVjT…

"All that is necessary for evil to triumph, is for good men to do nothing." - Attributed to Edward Burke. Over 75 years ago millions of good men and women sacrificed to fight evil. Some, like your grandfather, made the ultimate sacrifice. We should all be thankful for their sacrifice and you should be very proud of your grandfather!

My wife and I arrived in France from the UK in 1989 to live year-round and became French in 2018 after the Brexit Referendum. Your video is DEFINITELY INSPIRING for our next to Paris. Thank you 🙏. Excellent +1.

You have quickly become one of the best channels for Paris sights, along with Les Frenchies. You deserve many more subscribers. My wife and I have been watching your channel from the beginning, and your content and your editing are excellent. You show things that others don't, and have made us change plans for our trip this October because of some of your videos. Thank you for all you do!

Wonderful video! You have convinced me to visit this island as I will stay nearby at the Latin Quarter in October 2023. I will try to see all the marvels of your video per your map. Thanks a lot.

merci beaucoup! I admit I skipped through the fire scenes of N.D. I was fortunate to have attended a service there ~ 2010 and watched in horror on TV of the 2019 fire. I was able to visit Paris again in the fall of 2019. I could not look too much at the destruction even though I was staying close by in the Latin Quarter. You do inspire me to go back and spend time on Lle de la Cite. I want to see Sainte Chapelle! Thanks again.
