Dorsett ran for over 1,000 yards eight times in his career and set a record against the Vikings with a 99 yard touchdown run. He ran for almost 13,000 yards and scored 90 touchdowns in his career. Biggest knock on him was the fumbling; he had as many fumbles (90) as he did touchdowns (90) in his career. He was a 1x First Team All Pro, 4x Pro Bowler, and a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

In my opinion and in all of sports ( thru out history as well ), TD is THE most beautiful runner EVER....GOD, how I wish I could run like him..
-
Thanks for the memories Roger & Tony
-
His first step is unparallel.
-
My all time favorite running back to watch...one of the few backs, unlike most of the other greats, he had the acceleration to break any run, any time. You just held your breath watching him.
-
My favorite RB of all time. Electrifying. If Landry would have run him more against the Steelers we win that SB. They couldn't handle his speed. 15 carries wasn't enough.
-
Tony Dorsett is the single reason that I fell in love with football and played running back for 11 years. I was literally obsessed with him. His vision and smooth quickness were unmatched.
-
The One n Only Mr TD! My favorite Cowboys team of that era.
-
I can watch his videos ALLLL DAMMM DAY!!
-
He could turn on a dime, while going faster than everybody else. His ability to change direction at that speed always amazed me.
-
Tony Dorsett was the most electric and speedy running back who can do everything. He was very underrated and unappreciated by the league. I feel he was the best player during his era.
-
He was amazing
-
He set the collegiate rushing record at a time when they didn’t count your bowl game stats. And Ricky Williams broke his record during the regular season. When they only played 10 or 11 regular season games. That’s why I will always have mad respect for those two accomplishments.
-
Just an opinion. I think Walter Payton was the GOAT, but I know Dorsett was the fastest and most agile RB I'd ever seen play the game! He was a very spectacular and exciting player to watch! ✌️😎

One of the time greats and a great man
-
No running back in history was as fast off the line of scrimmage as Tony Dorsett. They guy was at full speed as soon as he crossed the line of scrimmage.
-
Nobody in the history of the NFL had speed & acceleration like Tony D.
-
Was not just his speed, but his vision.
-
As a longtime fan of the Washington Redskins, this man was one of the best.
-
Dallas’ best ever RB, EVER. Touchdown Tony Dorsett
