Gurkha Recruit Intake 24 arriving in the UK in February 2024. 337 new Gurkhas were selected only 10 days ago for thousands who applied to join the Brigade of Gurkhas. A short preparation period and parade in Pokhara, Nepal in front of the Head of the British Army, and then on a plane to Manchester Airport and then by coach to Catterick Garrison. This will be their new home for the next 39 weeks.

Welcome to our country every one of you and thanks for everything you do for us , my Father was in the RAF in the Far East always said when your gentleman were guarding the perimeter of the airfield he slept well .
