Conan O'Brien also didn't go down the cheap road of Trump bashing... Conan and Norm are students of the art of comedy. They don't go for cheap laughs just for the sake of ratings. They devote themselves to furthering the art form. That's what made them -- and indeed, still makes them -- so great.

Trevor Noah doesn't use Trump as a crutch.  It's more like a fully sustainable electric wheelchair with a 100-year-long battery.

Bit late on this: This reminds me of Team America: World Police. Parker and Stone both were asked why the film had no Bush jokes, and their response was "If you want a Bush joke, go outside and walk five feet. You'll find it. Everyone's doing it, it's just not that funny." Hating the current president is always the fodder for bad comedians. And when that becomes the routine of bad comedians, they can only hope the next president will be as hated as the current one, or they've got no material to make money off. They drag down comedy as an art form just to pander to that lowest common denominator and make that easy money. They're no different than every woman on OnlyFans.

The most disappointing one is Stephen Colbert. I always loved that guy back in the day. Grew up watching him on Stangers With Candy and The Daily Show. He was really funny then. But he’s pretty much unbearable to watch nowadays. Thought he was a little more of a smart/subtle thinker than that.

I remember watching this after Norm died. The amount of comments I saw saying disgusting shlt like "reap what you sow" & worst of all "Hope it was painful" Truly sickening gloating when this comedy great passed away
