Abjectly, condescendingly stating what's been said.
For it is here where we can die all-knowing, anyway.
It isn't ever-misery, it's what we have to eat.

Yet hiding stays the hand that brought the people what they want
lest they exchange its face for bitten mouthfuls filled with hate.
And wether it's a joyful thing to see you smile or not,
it's having names on rotting halls what truly sets you free.

Ill-tempered men will feast upon your swollen corpse someday,
so until then I wish for you to walk my velvet way.
