How To Beat The Escape Room: - Be the cameraman - Be the main character - Be Cinema Summary - Be stupid and don’t solve the invitation cube
  • When you realize Amanda would've survived if clothing companies made better pockets for women.

Let's be honest: The lure to attract victims this time was pretty good. The lure this time was a puzzle in itself, so solving it to win access to the game immediately feels rewarding for the victim, making them wanting to see more. The prize is also perfect. $10.000 is a considerable amount of money, but it's also not much. If some company made a new Escape Room, the pitch of "The first to beat it won $10.000!" it would be totally credible, it's the perfect number for a publicity stunt that feels like a lot but doesn't realy change your life nor anything like that, a number that a company can easily throw for a stunt like that. Of course, if they did their research on the company before jumping into it, they may have smelled foul and made the right choice of not going. But if we talk about the quality of their lure, this one was top-notch. It could fool almost anyone that isn't incredibly paranoid.

I feel like 10,000 is a lot less compared to the other death games he's covered.

The biggest criticism I have on this is that the girl almost certainly put the handle as far into her pocket as she could. Hell, we're lucky she even had that much in terms of pockets.

a bit of a correction, Minos didn't create the labyrinth, he commission Daedalus to construct it. and then trapped him and his son in it.

Im gonna come to Amanda's defense on the pocket bit. Women's pants pockets are way smaller than men's pockets. With the level of physical activity she was doing upside down there was no way the door knob was going to stay in her pocket. Her best bet probs would have been to try to hold it in her mouth

I like how you said the kid was only surviving thanks to his luck. Ironically, it's also because of his 'luck' that he 'solved' the 'invitation box puzzle'. He threw it on the ground, out of frustration, and he just got 'lucky'.
  • The whole scene about the water glasses killed me inside. I kept screaming and them to just choose any other heavy object and be done with it 😭

I absolutely loved this movie, when I was in the passenger seat during a minor fender bender and once information was exchanged I told my support person who asked if I was ok, I told him I don't care if I have whiplash I don't want to miss the movie. We got there just in time at the beginning.

I could’ve sworn he already did this one. But I’m not complaining. It’s always a good day when a Cinema Summary video comes out.

22:39 fun fact, the liquid in the bags is called Saline which is sodium chloride mixed salt used to treat severe cold among other things, seeing that it has salt in it makes it even more effective as a blocker when mixed in a towel/blanket.
  • They ran out of water in the first room because Amanda was having a panic attack brought on by PTSD from the IED attack she survived and Zoey gave her some from the cooler before Zoey realized the coasters and got the idea to use cups filled of water from the cooler to weigh down the coasters.

I love how being too gungho was the problem in the first trap but they continue to do it in every single other room as well.

i don't whether i would scared or relieved to be in a escape room with cinema summary. On one hand he got the survival knowledge on the other hand he does like to kill his friends to survive.
  • @basicallytrqsh
Amanda doesnt fall to her death. In the earlier releases of the second movie, it’s revealed that the bottom of the shaft was padded and she survived. She was then forced to design the next game’s rooms in order to save her daughter. The rooms were based on her personal experiences (daughter and mother at the beach, dead husband/receiving blood money, final room is her daughter’s bedroom). Sadly, the ending was changed in the later releases and now we dont know what happened to amanda Edit: i didnt spoil shit. In basically every version of this movie that you’ll see on any website there’s a different ending and beginning than the one i just spoke about because of reasons unknown to me.
  • I think you missed an obvious thing they should have done on the ice, which was to lay down on their backs or stomachs to increase surface area on the ice. It's clear that the real issue in this room is the ice breaking over the temperature going down.
