No pyrotechnics, no big screen behind them, no laser light show. Just four absolutely mind blowing musicians giving an amazing, all time performance.

Whoever got to see him live are the luckiest people in existence

year 2024 and I still claim: THIS IS THE BEST PERFORMANCE EVER !

I like how everyone is living in the moment. No cellphones. Just clapping in sync and singing along. What a time…what a moment.
  • This was the greatest live performance of all time. Everything here are off the charts. Roger Taylor's drumming was second to none. John Deacon was stellar playing the bass guitar. Brian May was awesome in the lead guitar. Freddie Mercury's powerful voice was out of this world. Queen is not all about Freddie Mercury, he's sorrounded by highly talented musicians as well.
  • Goosebumps 40 years later. They don’t make em like Freddie no more

Widely regarded as the best 20 minutes of live rock ever, Queen stole the show with this set. No one expected them to own Live Aid…but they came out of left field and surprised everyone. When you consider the fact that this was not a Queen show but a festival, never has an audience been so engaged. Magnificent!

I remember watching this on TV, I was 17 years old. Now I'm 56, where does the time go. They were great!!

I thank my dad and mom for introducing me to Queen (seeing as though I was born a year after he died). How is possible to miss someone you've never met? Freddie has that impact several years later.
  • I remember watching this performance as a 12 year old girl. I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen. I’d never seen anything like it and haven’t to this day. The greatest performance of all time hands down.
  • Freddie called himself a musical prostitute and he was right. When he was on stage he sold you everything, his mind, body and soul; every member of the audience went home with a piece of Freddie that they would own forever. That is what the very greatest artists, in whatever genre, do and why they achieve legendary status. Freddie you are a light in my darkness.
  • It was the best performance ever. For those who where there....no high technology involved, just a rock band with the loudest and clearest voice on the planet.... Freddie, its just like yesterday and it will always be like that. You left too early. You are deeply missed by millions...

Who ever put the ads in to break this up deserves Guantánamo Bay

No playback. no Auto-tune, not 22 different writers and producers on each song. Talent was required in the old days.
