Hailing from Canada, the duo Minor Sine Project (Age and Sandau) cultivates soundscapes of deep acid gems that span the genre bounds in the 8-track Break Me Down EP on TR4R’s Rough Cuts 06. Balancing elements of both emotive and club powerhouse energy, each track holds their own weight, while at the same time, compliments and builds upon one another to culminate in an EP that brings the best of the worlds of Chicago house and Detroit electro. With tracks like ‘Lost In Paradise,’ ‘Break Me Down,’ and ‘Luv 2 Dream,’ each traverse through different shades of pad-enriched territory that intersects Delsin-esque aesthetics with Alien Rain-like acid hypnotism. While tracks like ‘On The Pull’ and ‘Space Boy Playtime’ evoke the playful 90s shuffling funk side of the duo’s depth of production prowess.
