I have kept all kinds of birds for 44 years and can see they trust you. Birds can and do discriminate fairly. they will give back what they are given.. one of them was a toucanet and was so affectionate I still think of her 30 years later.

Thank you for rescuing Victory. You've made a lot of progress with him but that's no surprise. Our furry and feathered friends know if a human likes them or doesn't. They're so sensitive. I’m MORE THAN A “fan”, I couldn’t appreciate your honesty and I hope that one day I will have the opportunity to meet and THANK U in person!! If people think Marlene kisses and snuggles her birds too much, they’d down right throw up over my snuggling our girl. Actually our whole family is a little ga ga for her. I see so many people get animals that they no have clue how to take care of. It's sad :(. I was at an exotic bird shop, when a family walked in and bought a baby macaw for their child who was 7 years old 🤦🏼‍♀️. They had no idea what to feed the macaw, what cage size, how smart they are, how long they live ect. They just bought it because their son wanted it. It takes so much knowledge and effort to keep any animal healthy and happy.

Hello From Mark In Ky. I discovered your YouTube channel and enjoyed seeing that Victory now has a wonderful new home. Although I personally do not have any birds myself, I live in a rural area in which I can sit in my truck and watch several different species of birds and even deer from time to time. Some years ago, I had a neighbor that had a Macaw that screeched very loud on a regular basis. One day someone fired off some bottle rockets that whistled very loudly. After that happened, The Macaw talked constantly and imitated my sister scolding my black Labrador retriever and would whistle at the girls walking up and down the road. When the neighbors moved away - Things were not the same without the Macaw making everyone laugh. I look forward to seeing upcoming videos.
