I chose Sprigatito as my partner for the research. I have gotten a 96% Fuecoco, 93% Sprigatito, and still looking for a good Quaxly. Also used my daily adventure incense and got an articuno which I used my master ball on. This event has started off great. It makes me actually want to grind. Good luck with the shiny lechonk hunt. ✌️

@The Kruse Ship I’m having the same text box issue it might be because niantic is releasing gen 9 and another glitch came with it.

Just so you know for future releases, if you quick-catch a Pokémon you dont have registered, you can skip the dex entry page. That way you can catch, catch, and catch, but not actually get the dex entry animation/screenshot until you get the shiny.

I had the same problem. I tried to just shiny check them, but it doesn’t let you.

Knew this event was coming as well. Still fun to see the Paldean starters and Lechonk already. The rewards in the events are great and do need to get some grinding in with these. I got a 96 and 98% (if I recall correct Lechonk one male one female. No shinies yet. Also hunting for the Houndour shiny and hopefully good IV's. Wouldn't mind a Fletchling or Buizel, Shroomish etc as well. As for the starters I am doing good ish, have a few 3* Fuecoco which was my starter in Scarlet as well, so choose him. I got a Sprigatito which one is 3* If I recall correct as well and a XXL one. On the hunt for a Quaxly wit decent high IV's for the evolution line.

Went 20/21 in my battles with meowscarada.

On day one i got a Shiny Lechonk from the Lechonk event Research along with a 100% Lechonk followed by a 100% Fuecoco and my Partner Pokemon is Sprigatito.

All that lost stardust is killing me

I got one "shiny bacon" today ! The new Pokémon today do not like being caught. Going thru the pokeballs.
