This video is showcasing a walkthrough guide on how to get all 120 Stars in Nintendo's 1st 3D Mario Video game, Super Mario 64.
Everything is solely played, recorded and edited by me.
I did one 100% walkthrough, but it was terrible, so I made sure to do it better this time. I practiced stars before recording to ensure a decent walkthrough. Obviously, I can't compete with speedruners
it's still just a chill, 100% guide.

I remember when i was around 7. One of my older friends gifted me his ancient Nintendo 64. It was my first ever console, with my favorite game that i found inside being Super Mario 64. I remember defeating the last boss in the game and being super proud of myself. Since me and my brother were so young, we thought this game was endless due to it's massive worlds and easter eggs. (remember that this was our first ever video game to play, so we didn't know the console had limits.) I remember hugging every part of every wall in and around the castle. Hoping to find a possible secret. Whenever i did find one, me and my brother would be super happy and excited about what we had found. I never got any help from any person or book. But some how i managed to find every secret level (including the secret slide on the mountain level.) But by the time i found everything, i was 9 and we moved. We lost the Nintendo 64 in the process, but this game has given me so many memories just like a lot of people.

The hardest star for me to get was Mario Wings to the Sky in the upper part of the castle. I bought the game again in 2008, and I got all the stars in a week. I even happened to get the aforementioned star on the first try! I could probably never do that again. As I was writing this, I was listening to the song for the water stages. It was always so beautiful, and it brings back memories.

It would have been really hard to find all of these without this video. Great job. As far as Peach's side; I found that jumping and diving at the beginning of the slide, pushing the control stick forward the entire time, and taking corners on the inside of the curve was the way I could make the run in under 21 seconds.

The 21 second slide is a nightmare, and the second flying cap one is even more of a nightmare

15 stars: -Cap x3= Wing, Vanish, Metal -Red Slide x2= Complete, 21s -Rabbit x2= 30 stars, 50 stars -Toad x3= UG, 1F, 2F -Dive -Wing Cap -Bowser x3 I enjoy Wing Cap BGM. So 2nd Wing Cap will be my favorite :D My 2nd favorite will be Dive, the one with no water surface. Meaning do or die, collect coins or run out of power

The star from the Secret Aquarium is my favorite and the easiest secret star to get.

I missed the boat on this game when it came out in the late 90s. Played all Marios before and after it though. I just never got into this one until now. Thanks to people like you in modern times i can just walk through it. Back in the day we used to have to wait for a new issue of Nintendo Power magazine to come out and hope that it talked about the game you were playing haha. Great video

The Wing Cap part was a bitch, so I kept spamming save states (on Project64 emulator) because I suck. xD

Someone told me when I was a kid that if you fly through those circles rainbows (all three) you get a star. I finally decided to see if it was true and I'm mad that I tried sooooooo many times to do it 😂
